Nice quiet place for relaxing

We had nice time in hotel. The staff is nice and trying to help, rooms are big, and nice. Minus the is no so much fasilities on room kitchen.

Four star hotel..ok..mayby in 10 years ago..now i think 2-3..after 5pm you can't get any food in hotel..been there 3 days......enough for me...i think there is mould problem in our room too...red eyes and flu after first day..all gone after that journey..staff was ok....

Отель максимум 3 звезды.

Отель старый. Нужен ремонт, в заявленном двух спальном люксе 100кв м, но это не так - максимум 70. Не сдавайте вещи в стирку в отеле , испортили футболку, порвали куртку. Пытались обмануть с байком , завысили цену в два раза , по сравнению с прокатами рядом с пляжем. И Самое главное - не вернули депозит 1000 бат . Просто сказали что не было депозита. Хотя есть чек. Впечатление от отеля осталось плохое - везде пытались обмануть. Если не хотите испортить себе отдых не бронируйте этот отель. Единственный плюс это тишина.

Jeff the manager was very accommodating, speaks very good English, up dated our room for us. Very quiet place, out of the way with excellent free suttle. This place has very steep hills, but we enjoyed the challenge. Very clean.

Nice accommodation but far away and terrrible staf

The accommodation itself was great - clean, spacious and classy, however the whole lace lacked atmosphere. We did not realise that it was so far from the main beach at Kamala so we had to rely on the bus transfer every hour which was alright but not ideal. Would definitely hire a scooter for the whole time if we stayed here again. There was no restaurant on site just a mediocre cafe which was pretty bad. The breakfast was average and I would have preferred to just have my own cereal. Although a nice place there was little to no atmosphere and the staff were not particularly helpful or warm. If you only want a room that is nice and you don't mind isolation or bad service it would be alright to stay here

Schöne Lage, das Hotel ist sehr enttäuschend!

Abholung vom Flughafen (Transfer) hat nicht funktioniert, war bei der Organisation wie sich im Verlauf des Aufenthaltes (bitte weiterlesen >) herausstellte aber auch nicht anders zu erwarten! Die Zimmer sind völlig herunter gewirtschaftet (nach 7-8 Jahren!) so dass wir am ersten Tag aus unserem "Studio" in zwei andere (kleinere) Zimmer wechselten. Diese waren akzeptabel... Nach 6 Tagen mussten wir erneut umziehen, in ein nach Aussage der Angestellten: "renoviertes Studio", kurz und knapp, eine Zumutung! Die Reinigung der Zimmer geschieht sehr oberflächlich, daher auch Kakerlaken im Bad, nach 3 Versuchen, wurde dann die komplette Wohnung ausgegast. Der Rest der Anlage (Pool, Fitness Studio,.......) dementsprechender Zustand. Das Frühstück ist ebenso nicht zu empfehlen, die Bedienung (Chef) hat kein Interesse und die Speisen am Buffet sind kalt (werden morgens um 8:00 Uhr zubereitet und stehen dann bis 11:00 Uhr ohne Warmhaltung), ein Mitreisender hat die Bedienung (Chef) treffenderweise als "nightmare" bezeichnet. Tische sind schmutzig, fügt sich aber nahtlos in das Gesamtbild ein.Fazit: Hoffnungslos überfordertes "Management" die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sprechen schlecht englisch und kein thailändisch da aus Drittländern zugewandert ergo, die externe und interne Kommunikation ungenügend!Abschließend noch das einzige funktionierende bei dieser Organisation: Der tägliche Fahrservice in das ca. 3,5 km entfernte Kamala, war immer pünktlich und hat gut funktioniert!

Högt fint beläget men slitet hotell

Kamala är trevligt. Detta hotell ligger högt ovanför stad och strand. Hotellet är slitet men fungerar bra i det stora hela. Inredning sliten, dålig tv, bra internet. Mat kan jag inte säga något om eftersom det var alldeles för dyrt, billigare nere på stranden eller inne i centrum. 300 baht för frukost/pers. Bättre att fixa själv eftersom möjligheter finns.Poolen hyfsad, finns 2 pooler samt ett gym. Studiorum som vi hade ligger på bottenvåning vilket innebär terass nära omgivningen vilket i sin tur innebär ett mindre zoo på terassen, inga problem men bra att veta om i förväg. Torkskåp borde finnas i denna typ av rum om du nu inte har direktsol på terassen för luftfuktigheten gör det omöjligt att torka kläder annars. Shuttlebussen är ett måste om man vill ta sig till stranden bekvämt men svårt att anpassa tiderna efter den. Fasta tider som den går och vill man åka annan tid så kostar det. Borde nog vara möjligt för dem att ändra så att den går varje timme. För rörelsehindrade är detta hotell inget att tänka på med de branta vägar som är inom området. Läget är annars bra med bra luft....

Lugn och skön omgivning, högt beläget ovan Kamala.

Hotellet i sig är inget speciellt men det ligger i en lugn och skön omgivning högt över havet vilket ger en renare luft än nere vid stranden. Lite svårt att anpassa tider p.g.a. att shuttlebussen går på angivna tider och dessa hålls inte så strikt alla gånger och vill man åka andra tider så kostar det pengar. Studiorum som vi hade ligger alltid på bottenvåningen vilket innebär terass istället för balkong och det nära omgivning så var beredda på att ha ett litet zoo på terassen, inga problem men bra att veta om i förväg.

Perfect for relaxation, but not for dining.

The hotel is in a wonderfully serene location. If you're looking to get away from it all, then this may be the place for you. the room was excellent, very comfortable and spacious, exceptional value for money. I particularly loved having a kitchen and washing machine. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly and any problems with the room were dealt with swiftly. However, I would not recommend the hotel restaurant. The staff are disgracefully rude, especially the restaurant manager. Even when you greet them in Thai, they do no reply or even acknowledge you with so much as a smile. They also do not always have the food advertised on the menu, but this is probably because guests soon learn not to bother visiting the restaurant. Hotel shuttle drivers are wonderful and wil drop you anywhere en-route.

On a réservé un studio et on a été surclassé en appartement 2 chambres! Donc le séjour commençait super bien! L'appartement avec 2 chambres avec salle de bain respectives! Salon cuisine ouverte et terrasse ! Le Top ! Le gros plus c'est que l'hôtel a des navettes qui déposent à horaires réguliers à la plage et qui viennent vous chercher gratuitement!

Schön aber etwas veraltet

Schöne Hotelanlage, jedoch etwas outdated. Die vier Sterne hat es wohl mal verdient, als es etwas neuer war, mittlerweile teilweise ein wenig heruntergekommen. Lage schön yum Entspannen. Nettes Personal. Gutes á la carte-Frühstück.

Beautiful retreat over looking the mountains...

A beautiful hotel away from the main drag in puke. If you're looking for a serene and secluded retreat then this is for you. The rooms are huge and the views are stunning. I paid about £40 a night I think and it was worth every penny although be aware it is over 45 minutes from the airport and the taxi cost almost £30, speak to the hotel and get them to organise the transfer? They'll get you a much better rate, they organised me a taxi the next day and it was less than half the cost. They're building a new gym & leisure area, explore the grounds because the views from this bit and the second pool are simply breath-taking
