When I showed up to check-in, I was told the did not have my reservation and "I don't know what to tell you." I had my reservation confirmation in hand. I asked to just be checked in directly, and not thru Expedia and was told they were sold out. I gave up and went to the car to figure out what to do with my family at 10:30 at night. It wasn't until a friend who was also staying at the same hotel came down and pushed for room that they magically found one.

Goid stuff: Beds were surprisingly soft & comfy. White sheets & pillow cases were clean & fresh feeling. Shower pressure was great, & flowed from a nice shower head. Bad stuff: We found 2 or 3 small cockroackes running around in the unit. We sprayed Lysol bear our beds to keep them away from us.

This property is basically a homeless shelter that still rents rooms. I was in the parking lot and someone approached me that appeared homeless but said he was hotel security and wanted to know if I was staying at the hotel. In the morning I watched people leaving towing there belongings behind them down the street. This place needed a remodel 20 years ago.

The staff was kind. The room was disgusting. Bottom of our room door was beat in, stained couch and furniture. My siblings and I did not feel safe nor comfortable staying there. Still waiting for my refund to go through.

We checked into our room and stayed for less than 5 minutes!!! After checking in with the front desk and driving around the building to our room number, we were stared down by 3 different people looking at us as if we were bait waiting to get robbed!! once in the room, it was disgusting, filthy with stains on the bed and in the bathroom!! very uncomfortable and not a safe feeling at all!! immediately checked out and did not stay!! if you want to get robbed, go ahead and stay here. thanks but no thanks

Extend-A-Suites of Mesa AZ is fine if you need a motel for the night. Extend-A-Suites Mesa is not recommended for a multi-day stay. It's in east mesa with plenty of homeless people roaming around and hanging out day and night in parking lots, Mcdonald's, and public bus shelters. I needed to travel to AZ for a funeral and it was March. Spring training for MLB in AZ. Extend-A-Suites Mesa offers an affordable option if your motel/hotel budget is limited and your traveling to AZ in March. Investment in the property to upgrade the room mattresses, pillows and room chairs is definitely needed. My room contained a smelly old office chair that needed to be replaced. My room also contained a microwave and a full size fridge. Room phone is disconnected. Better have a cell phone. They did have a person patrolling the property in the evening. There is coffee in the motel office for the motel guests and an outdoor vending machine for soda. The Valley Metro train is nearby but mostly the homeless use it.

If you only get one thing out of this review, just remember DO NOT STAY AT EXTEND-A SUITES! This property is run down and poorly maintained and the clientele at the hotel are extremely sketchy. Checking into the hotel you will see warnings about not allowing firearms, drugs, and illegal activity. Take that as your first warning. The outside of the building looked pretty normal, but when we got to our room, we found that the walls had unpainted repairs and spray paint marks. The furniture decapitated, including a stained lamp shade that I’m pretty sure it was just found in an alley somewhere. The bathroom ceiling light was full of dead bugs. As we left our room to go eat, we were confronted by a strange aggressive guest who said I was parked in his space (I was parked in front of my room) This made us scared to park anywhere near that area of the lot. We were woken up around midnight by pounding on the door next to ours by a “security” person. After a loud angry conversation, it was determined that the “security” person was at the wrong room. About 20 min later we heard the banging and yelling begin again, presumably at the correct room this time. Needless to say, we did not sleep much that night and feared for our safety. Whenever we left the room, we packed everything of value into the car and took it with us. I will say that everyone in the front office was nice, but would I ever come back here again or recommend it? NO WAY. DO NOT STAY AT EXTEND-A SUITES…EVER.

This property was not suitable for me, I was greeted with people sitting on the floor with their bags and tweekers walking around at 1am. I didn’t feel like my car was safe neither I. I was up all night until I checked out in the morning. They said they would refund the rest of the nights but not sure when they will because it shows it charged for all nights. I would not recommend this place unless you like that vibe. The room was nasty, there was roaches and the toilet had pieces of wood holding it stable.

DO NOT… DO NOT… Do not, under any circumstances, trust a stay at Extend-a-Suites, Mesa. My wife and I made reservations with the hotel about a month prior to the one night that we were going to be staying there. We booked a prepaid and nonrefundable reservation and had Extend-a-Suites cancel our reservation when we showed up at 7:05PM saying that we were “late“. Bless her heart the one worker that was running the front desk was going frantic because so many people were having their reservations canceled. She had been telling the owners for the previous two weeks that they were way overbooked on quite a few nights and the owners didn’t care. They would just cancel the reservations and send you away making you be thankful that they refunded your “nonrefundable“ reservation. So I will end my review the same way that I began it. DO NOT… DO NOT… Do not, under any circumstances, trust a stay at Extend-a-Suites, Mesa.

Sink was busted and hanging down the bathroom door was falling off the hinges I had to lift the door to make it close ac unit was all messed up and to top it off they gave someone a room key to my room so at about 3 am some random guy tried to come in my room so yea over all I would say not great ooo and apparently someone with a similar name as me was not allowed to stay there so they cancelled my reservation and then had to just re put me in so yea again over all not happy I will find better accommodation next time I’m in town for sure
