When we requested an hour early check in, the host said it was going to be a $50 charge so we declined. When we finally arrived at the normal check-in time (4:00) the digital key pad did not work. The host had to contact the owner while we waited outside in the dark. When he finally called back, we had to find a lockbox in the dark on the side of the house that surprisingly worked and we were able to get in around 7:00. The host told us he will see what he can do for us for the inconvenience...never heard from him again. Also, to use the spa/pool, there was an extra charge. The pool and spa were dirty so that was not an going to happen anyway. Coming into town for a family emergency during the middle of the week was stressful enough and then having to deal with these issues was not pleasant.
