warm welcome

The Hotel had already it‘s best days but they do a good job. I was the only guest so sure no breakfast buffet, got only a soup and juice. No fruits. And the beach is dirty, but that‘s everywhere the same: nobody is responsible to clean up.

Avoid this resort

The stay at Dat Lanh Resort was unforgettable. Unfortunately in a bad way. The resort is actually nice and the staff smiles nicely but they won't help you with anything and try to charge you with made up expenses at check out. In our case they claimed there was a spoon missing and that one towel was too dirty (340K dong). Totally nonsense. A valuable tip when you anyway end up here: at checkout grab your passports as soon as you are able to and then just remove the nonsrnse items from your bill. There are two tennis courts but in the reception they have zero tennis rackets for hire... The restaurant takes at least 45 minutes to prepare your food. There are unfortunately no alternatives in the neighbourhood. You will need to take a 23 minutes drive to terrible La Gi for the nearest ATM. Only one out of five ATM's accepted my Visa or Mastercard. E.g. in Mui Ne all ATM's work. If you ask the reception to help you book a taxi, you get a telephone number to a taxi service where nobody speaks english instead. The resort seems to be aimed at Vietnamese groups. All other travellers are seen as cash cows.

Bad Location

Searched for a Hotel room in mui ne, but ended up mistakenly ordering this hotel because it has a same name of a hotel in mui ne and trivago search also thought this was the hotel in mui ne. The dat lanh resort itself was really nice and staff were really helpfull and kind. The only thing that bothered me was the location. Its too far away from everything. We got bored. And the beach was really nice itself, but there were so much trash all over the beach. So you cant really swim there.
