"The hotel’s location was ideal as it’s within walking distance from the train station and the port. My single room was comfortable and the design was pretty efficient. Air conditioning was available if needed. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of options. The swimming pool was nice to have - conveniently located in the lower ground floor. They provided a nice wellness bag with sauna towels as well as a bathrobe if you need it. At the ground floor, free water and even hot water with tea were available. Apples and popcorn were also provided for free. "

"The Hotel was spotless. All the staff helpful. Great incentive if you didnt want the room cleaned leaved a card out on the door. And you got a free drink to use that day. Location near the station and a nice short walk to Ravensburg town"

"Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly. "

"Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times. Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!) Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment. A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly."

"Comfortable lodging in a historic building in an excellent location steps from the train station and across the street from Lake Constance. Excellent service. Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful setting. "

"The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay. "
