Good city hotel for good price/quality

I've been reading a lot of negative comments here. Definitely disagreeing. This might not be the perfect hotel, as nearly none is, but it was definitely a perfect price quality match. Good large clean room, good service and nice breakfast. No complaints at all!

The rating and cost are way too high. It’s clean and otherwise nice but the front staff is rude. I asked THREE times for a room cleaning over my 3 night stay and it wasn’t done. Even left door tag requesting clean which staff removed and still didn’t clean. Would never staff here again.

It was a very good hotel with this price, rewe is in vicinity and you can buy everything you need. The only thing I did not like was some unreal explanations about room, based on room description it was supposed to have a partial view to bodensee, but was not met, and bathroom facilities was not complete.

Great week at Lake Constance

Lake Constance is a wonderful area for vacations. The Plaza Hotel in Friedrichshafen is located a bit outside of downtown. Its a hotel with breakfast only. No restaurants nearby. Parking was a bit of a challenge at times, more cars than spaces. Breakfast buffet was excellent every day. The service was pleasant/friendly.

Quite an expensive alternative given the overall experience. Challenging to interact with the personnel who seemed to be mostly uninterested. Absolutely no privacy in the bathroom; big window facing the parking lot/street. Smelled like old sweat in the bathroom. Parking fee is an absolute robbery on the backside, despite free parking 2 blocks away. I forgot my Sony camera battery charger and tried to contact them multiple times, but they ignored me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the view from my balcony. Though, I did find the step up/step down from the room a little unsafe. I think the breakfast buffet could have had better choices, but what I did eat was good. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

It isn't a 4 stars hotel , max a 3 stars. No AC in the rooms, the rooms were loud, warm, humid in a level that sleeping as almost impossible. The window/door was broken and there were insects inside.

Das gebuchte Hotel war geschlossen und es standen da 3 verschiedeneTelefonnummern, als Kontakt. Bei 2 Nummern meldete sich niemand bei der 3. Nummer meldete sich erst ein Anrufbeantworter, dann eine Dame die sagte ich verbinde sie und dann meldete sich niemand mehr. So gingen 30.min bei 2 Grad und Nieselregen vorbei ohne das ich etwas in Erfahrung bringen konnte. Erst bei einem weiteren Anruf sagte mir eine weitere Dame das ich zu einem anderen Hotel kommen solle. Dort angekommen, kein Wort des Bedauerns. Nicht sehr gastfreundlich.
