Short stay
Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable room but somewhat dated and smelling stale. Large bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Full english breakfast included. Felt slightly overpriced compared to other places we have stayed but was fine for a one night stay visiting friends nearby.

An adequate overnight venue but unfortunately my bed (room 5) had a very uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was good as was the service generally. The evening meal was OK but not special. Beer (6X) was good.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was a very warm day. I would have loved a portable fan for our room but there were none to be had.

For a small country pub, it was good.
Great service, comfortable bed, good bathroom, limited drinks menu, friendly and attentive staff (there was only one person there, who coped brilliantly).

Reasonable accommodation
Reasonably good, but just seemed a bit expensive for the overall offering. Some modernisation has been done, but still more to be done. But its location worked for us so no real complaints!

Great place to stay
Very friendly and welcoming. No formalities. Very comfortable bed and staff helpfully accommodating in setting up an extra bed in the room. Personally shown to the room and great 'complimentary' breakfast. There was quite a lot of loud talking from the outside drinking area (and swearing) which was right under our window, but then it is a pub. The village, Upavon, not Pewsey, is very quaint - had a lovely walk early Sunday morning down to the River Avon.

Plenty of parking available on site. We stayed in a room with a lovely big bath and a walk in shower, which were nice after a long day of exploring. The inn serves tasty food - puby but well made. The breakfasts were good as well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. So all in all - a very enjoyable stay.

Large, spacious room complete with a very large bath. Unfortunately i stayed during lockdown and the pub was closed. There is nothing to do in the evening and the closest place to get food was a good 15 minute drive.

In need of a refurb and a deep clean!
The service and welcome was really friendly... but that’s the main positive. The room is currently massively over priced for what you get as is in a shabby condition. Breakfast is poor quality and the room was in need of a deep clean (were talking a grubby toilet and dead flies on the window sill!)

Great Experience of Rural England.
We loved our night at the Antelope. From the moment we arrived the Host made sure everything was in place for our stay: Dinner was excellent and served at the bar over a few drinks with the locals. Beforehand we experienced some bell ringing at the Historical C.of E Church nearby and a personal tour of the bell tower! Would highly recommend this Country Hotel stay as a real experience of the beauty of Rural England. P.S. The breakfast was outstanding and in the given price! A real Bargain

This pub has so much potential. It could be lovely however the rooms and corridors are filthy. I think the duvet cover was changed between guests and that was it. The bathrooms have had work but need to be cleaned. It is certainly priced well over what it’s worth. With some tlc this could be amazing. Not sure if that will happen though. Shame.

Lovely location, working progress.
The host was very welcoming and friendly, my room was basic with a lovely deep bath and separate shower although the towels were tatty and worn and there were holes in my pillow cases, the floor was not vacuumed and there was hair in the bath and shower. I had a lovely meal at dinner but was unable to wait for breakfast as they did not start serving till 8.30am. I would visit again, but I think a few things need to be improved before I come back.

A hidden gem !
What a lovely place the Antelope Inn turned out to be !! It's a family run pub, restaurant and hotel in a pretty little village that would be easy to miss. Room was very nice indeed, with everything finished to an impressively high standard - there were no shortcuts in quality, with things like the coffee maker being a proper one (rather than just a kettle) and the shower being great !! The food in the restaurant had a good variety and was well prepared and presented. And the breakfasts were epic !!! Overall we had a great weekend and we're made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
