"We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on a Monday. Our room, although beautiful, smelled old and musty…likely due to the wooden ceilings and the age of hotel. They gave you shampoo, but no conditioner in room. The toilet was small, like what you would see in a children’s room. And the morning of checkout, there was no breakfast because their restaurant was closed. That being said, we loved the beautiful architect of the building, the pool, and the surroundings. It felt as if we stepped back in time, when going to a hotel meant something more that a bed and tv. The service was great, waitstaff was friendly, and we will definitely return should we get the chance."

The star party event Saturday night was awesome - kudos to the astronomer and his telescope. The property is surrounded by oaks and cedars and sits on a hilltop ridge. It felt private, but restaurants weren’t far in Kerrville. I didn’t realize it was a time share property and was surprised to be asked to join a sales tour. But it wasn’t required - I declined and it was no big deal. "
