"The location was perfect for us. I wanted to stay near my childhood home and this house checked the box. The house was cute, clean and conveniently located to shopping, dining and is close to all that New Haven has to offer."
Cozy 1-bedroom apartment, water views in wonderful New Haven with WiFi, AC
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a lovely long weekend at this property. It was very well kept and perfect for the two of us. Everything was updated and the entire property was very clean and outback looking over the river was beautiful. We would certainly stay there again."
"Sadly, our stay was so disappointing. I realize your advertisement said the property had some wear from use but what we actually found was incredibly poor maintenance practices and obvious long term neglect. Clearly this place used to be very nice but it has been ruined by a lack of proper care. Here are just a few of the things that need to be addressed to try and rehabilitate the property.Master Bedroom/Bath:Dirty towels in the hamper when we arrived so we washed the sheets because we didn’t know if they had been washed.Shower wall had an unknown substance left on it so I had to clean it.Paint the walls, it’s clear someone tried to do touchups with the wrong color.Back Patio:The Grill is unsafe and unusable - seals are bad and grates are rustedWeeds up through the deck boards - when I pulled some out, glass from the broken table top came out with them and I didn’t see that until I cut my foot on it.Over grown shrubs make the seating area unusable and they need to be trimmed backDead plants and debris need to be removed to detour the rat we saw from sneaking into the seating area.Three of the outside lights are broken and two are literally hanging out of the socketsRailing caps are rottenKitchen:Ants - we had to go and get bait Microwave light over stove outTwo kitchen lights out not enough light in the kitchen to cook comfortably There was so much more that needed to be addressed. So sad."
