The new bar and restaurant is great. We could only get a lodge room which was very underwhelming and the shared bathrooms weren’t the cleanest. In saying that is is the outback and not the Hilton. I enjoyed my stay.

Kings Canyon Resort is in a beautiful location and the spa cabins are lovely. We really enjoyed our cabin. The property also has lovely touches like the sunset viewing bar with the live music. However, the quality of the food was awful - both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet and they ran out of things very early on. Given there are no other food options in the area, this is important to get right especially given the price we are paying to stay there. I understand that Covid and remoteness makes it difficult but they really need to improve in this area.

The property is under a full renovation so there was only one restaurant open. The rooms have been nicely renovated, well cleaned and nice decor. The location is amazing and the staff did their best to accommodate all guests while dealing with staff shortages and renovations. I would love to come back when the resort has completed its renovation.
