7.6/10 Good! (325 reviews)
This hotel only has two things going for it, the very central location and the very friendly front staff. It is easy to walk everywhere and most tour companies will pick up from the hotel - which were the reasons why I selected it.
But I stayed for four nights and only had my room serviced once, and then only to empty the bin. Dirty cups and glasses, wet towels, messy floor (on arrival) - all ignored. What's more, there was a pair of men's underpants left under the table when I arrived, and of course they were there when I left too.
I assumed the room would be basic given the stars, but hadn't quite expected just how basic. Oh, and the swimming pool is tiny and in a corner under a roof.
Breakfast/dinner is not in the actual hotel but rather in an adjoining restaurant, Bella Alice. The food was very good but the service was extremely slow, 30+ min for a simple pasta dish. The restaurant is accessed with the room key but something was wrong for the last two days and I had to walk around the block (in the rain) to get back in.
My main concern, however, was security. The layout of the hotel, and the lack of closed gates even after midnight, meant that anyone could walk off the street in the middle of the night and make their way to any bedroom. Very uncomfortable indeed.
Sorry, but I will NOT be staying again.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,000 reviews)
I found one staff member on booking in last week anything but helpful, guess I would say using authority even though she was young !!!
Worse room we ever had even though I ask for mountains view did not take the care to see I had that room, but Monica just wanted to get it finished
I couldn’t be bothered correcting this!!!
Disappointed

8.4/10 Very good! (1,002 reviews)
Staff at the reception and restaurant offered poor service (no smile and cannot take order properly and we waited 15-29 min only to get water).
Hotel need some love…everything looks like the 90s.
