The Shangri-La was a beautiful well kept resort which was so family friendly. Their attentiveness to those with families was extraordinary. It made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. We would definitely recommend the Shangri-La to our family and friends.

The only recommendation would be for the Japanese restaurant to use less garlic when making the fried rice. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet offered a large variety of choices-fresh and delicious. We recommend a stay in an ocean view suite for couples who plan to visit. It offered an outdoor soak tub to allow one to watch the sun set into the sea. Little things made the differences at the Shangri-La Rasa Ria: • cold face towel when sitting by the pool • family friendly pools and activities for those travelling with little munchkins • accessibility friendly • located right on the sandy beach • multiple pillow options - AMAZING! • laundry service at an amazing price • a thank-you note from the room attendants sealed the deal on the day of check-out Service was excellent from the moment we arrived to the sad moment when we had to leave.
