This was absolutely the cutest, most rustic hotel! The bathrooms are a bit odd, but overall it was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful! It was a very nice experience

First of all, we had no car. We had planned to have one but Italy recently changed the law and the rental companies haven’t updated their contract language or online policies to make that clear. If you have no car, you will be trapped here. There is one restaurant. The breakfast is paltry and they run out of items. There is little fresh like fruit. There is no lunch available and the town is a far walk down a mountain road. They make no exceptions for this. The dinner starts later and the menu is limited. Otherwise it’s fine. The pool and rooms are not how they are represented in the pictures. Overall very expensive for what you get especially if you hadn’t planned to be trapped there. It’s not set up for you to be so. Updated pictures are needed.
This is what they called a separate eating area.
But you can’t sit at the table because it’s not a table. It’s some wrapped tarp stacked thing.

Wunderbar gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Toll, was aus dieser ehemaligen Papiermühle gemacht wurde! Der Pool ist fußläufig erreichbar, nicht überfüllt und völlig in Ordnung. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse in schöner Umgebung war für uns was die Auswahl betrifft wirklich ausreichend und lecker! Einziger Wermutstropfen: Brot und Brötchen hatten an beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes , nun ja: Vortages- Charakter.

Et gammelt hotel, som helt sikkert har været godt i sin storhedstid. Værelset vi fik var mørkt, uden aircondition og med et enkelt vindue. Der var køleskab på værelset, men det virkede ikke. Da vi spurgte ind til det, fik vi at vide at vi kunne bruge det som bord, eller bare kigge på det. Sengene er stenhårde. Der er en fin restaurant på hotellet. Priserne er høje, men generelt er kvaliteten ok. Vi valgte dog kun at spise der en enkelt gang, da der helt klart var favorisering af de “stort betalende” gæster. Vi brugte poolområdet en del, og det er meget forfaldent. Fliserne er flere steder helt væk, baren som de siger er der, er der ikke. Kanten til poolen, er direkte farlig. Man kan skære sig på de sten den er lavet af, og vi fik mærker af at holde på den. Stigen er løs og føles usikker. Morgenmaden på hotellet er lækker og nok det vi var mest tilfredse med. Men den koster også derefter. Hotellet er godt til en enkelt overnatning eller to, men ville ikke anbefale det til en længere ferie.

Traumhafte Hotel am Fluss mit tollen Blick und sehr schöne Gegend mit der Geschichte der Papiermühle. Zimmer war groß und das Frühstück war ausreichend.

Det var et rigtig fint ophold og sted. Fin og velholdt bygning og poolområde. Eneste minus var det lidt mørke værelse og kedelige brød ved morgenmaden. Hotellet ligger i ok afstand til både Pisa, Lucca og Firenze. Derudover er byen Pescia, der ligger tæt på hotellet, også også et besæg værd.

Necesita una reforma, al menos nuestra habitación.La habitación con tapa WC rota y bombilla fundida. Se avisa y no arreglan el wc.Se estropea aacc y no arreglan. Solo desayunos. Restaurante a 100 m abre solo para bodas, comuniones y similares. Tienes q ir al pueblo por una carretera de montaña sin arcén ni iluminación unos 2 km. Un peligro ir andando. Desayuno muy justito. Una pena porque el lugar y el hotel es espectacular

La hall e gli spazi comuni sono ben tenuti e puliti, punto di forza la ruota del mulino della vecchia carriera funzionante! La camera era ampia e luminosa ma un po' vecchiotta. Personale gentilissimo e super disponibile!

Ruhiges, rustikales Hotel mit dem gewissen Charme

Schöne, etwas rustikale Hotelanlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Junior Suite ist groß und geräumig. Lediglich beim Frühstück gab es keine so riesen Auswahl, aber das was es zu Essen gab, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Lage hat uns persönlich sehr gut gefallen, da es abgelegen und ruhig war! Wir können dieses Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen.

A great hotel but pool open to the public!

Very friendly and clean hotel with an excellent pool. We had a great time but only after challenging the size and configuration of our family quadruple room that we were allocated upon arrival. The hotels.com photos do not represent the actual rooms on offer as the hotel explained to us and therefore this should be taken into account when booking. However the hotel were extremely accommodating and provided us with an apartment ( no air con) overlooking the pool which was fab and incredibly spacious. The pool is also open to the public at weekends which was a huge surprise and makes the area very busy. This should be made very clear on the website. However from Monday onwards it is a lovely experience. Personally the pool should be for exclusive use of residents only. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel public areas are very historic with many interesting artefacts from when the paper mill was in use. Overall we would stay here again.

Charming spot by the river

Lovely site just outside of Pescia among river and green hills, an old stone mill lovingly maintained. The pool was closed and the playground a bit worn but nice to have access to both. Charming out door space by the river, bar, and restaurant for breakfast downstairs. We loved neighboring Collito. Our room was large with many nice touches and wooden beams overhead and a separate adjacent room for our little boy. The on site restaurant for dinner was good and a good value for a 3 course dinner!
