VILLA IL TORRIONE is an elegant country villa in central Tuscany. Located in Pescia, on the very first hill, it is only 15km from Lucca. Immersed in the family olive grove, in a private and elegant area, it is located a few meters from one of the two ancient medieval towers of Pescia and allows, through a private road, to go down with a walk of a couple of minutes, to the city center. The villa offers an elegant and comfortable environment both inside and outside. A beautiful solarium area equipped with SPA, the outdoor sitting areas, the dining area, ensure total relaxation.
The villa is accessed by a beautiful iron gate, with automatic opening. The villa has 4 bedrooms: on the ground floor there are a double bedroom with private bathroom and a single bedroom with external bathroom, going up to the first floor you will find two more double bedrooms with shared bathroom. The rooms on the first floor face directly onto the terrace enjoying the magnificent landscape.
On the ground floor a large living room with crystal table, fireplace and relaxation area awaits you for aperitifs or dinners. A comfortable and equipped kitchen will allow you to cook all together in joy. If you want to taste traditional dishes, on request, it is possible to organize a dinner prepared by a chef at home.
The external area of the villa is completely paved and fenced, and from the gates you can access the terraces with olive trees and go down to Pescia. An ideal home for family or friends reunions in the heart of one of Tuscany's wine and art-rich areas
The position of the villa, in addition to guaranteeing privacy and tranquility, is an excellent starting point for visiting the main attractions of Tuscany. You are just 20 minutes from the enchanting medieval city of Lucca, while Pistoia, Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano and the Cinque Terre are all between 20 minutes and 60 minutes by car, allowing for fantastic day trips before returning to this private paradise.

Italy on the Hilltop
The view and home were amazing. Anna, the property manager who will be helping you, was great and went up and above. Trying to find the place was difficult. Google maps and Apple maps both want to send you through town on streets that are very narrow with tight turns. Anna was great here too in that she called us and then sent us separate directions. I would suggest giving guests the "heads up" on the Google/Apple routes and possibly send the directions right at the beginning. The home was spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Our stay in Italy at this VRBO was very good and the host was excellent.

Great views, house has charm, generally clean. However, I wouldn't consider it "luxurious" in the sense that the amenities are somewhat minimal (almost no paper products, only one set of towels for 8 days, had to ask a couple times for more, finally got them mid-week). Weeds in the patio, broken flower pot, private pathway to town is overrun with vegetation, multiple outside lights don't work, can't use hose reel as the leader hose has no clamp, 1st floor master bedroom door catches hard on the floor halfway open, coffee pot was unusable due to scaling and flaking inside...these things give it a sense of minimal care and not going above and beyond as expected in a "luxury" place. The wifi is useless, had to reset constantly (just a portable hotspot), so make sure your phone hotspot works if you need to connect laptop. 1st floor master shower is short, you can use the other shower on the 1st floor but there is no ledge for shampoo/soap. There is a washer on site, but no dryer so you will have to wait for towels to dry (24+ hours for us). Had no hot water for almost two days (contacted them, but they didn't have a spare FOB to open the gate to get a technician in and we were out on a day trip, so had to leave the FOB the next day). Contacted manager when we returned home to point out issues; got excuses and rebuttal instead of a resolution (claimed they don't advertise as "luxurious" (???)). Have stayed in more modest places with better amenities; looks aren't everything.

Beautiful home and property
This home was stunning. The shuttered doors and windows, stone and marble throughout, a perfect blend of old with new. A short walk to the city center. Our host, Ina, was awesome! Friendly, responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely Villa
This Villa was absolutely lovely. The views from the massive patio were breathtaking. There was A/C that was cold and it was well stocked. Ina was wonderful with check in and suggestions. A wonderful gem.Rhe location was great for day trips since they were only an hour away to Luca and Pisa. I would stay here again, thank you for a lovely holiday home.
