"Clean beautiful hotel! In a great location near many shops and food restaurants. Hotel gave us drink vouchers. They also had live music on outside patio on the weekend! Hotel is approx 30 minutes to the ferry to North Stradbroke island, 20 minutes to Morton island excursion. Would recommend and stay again. "

"RSL is across the road, and the meaks were great. Found a cafe in the morning less than 5 min walk. Place was clean, and the aircon was positioned well for the hot weather we experienced. We liked to walk and the walk ways took us to the sea side in about 2km. We didn't have time to use the good sized swimming pool, but it was inviting. The place is older than some, but is clean and not run down. It is a comfy stay for a good price and it is convenient to shopping centres and eateries. "

"Unique beautiful island. Lovely hotel manager, spacious room, cute pool, attractive property. I usually always bring our own soaps and shanpoos etc but was running low on space in the car so didnt this time, so was a little disappointed to not find any face washers, shampoo and conditioners etc, especially with 6 kids. Thankfully they had bar soaps so we made do. They did provide kitchen detergents though which helped. Was a lovely place "
