After having sent 2 emails with no response to the owner 3 days and 1 day before arrival I had to phone Stayz helpline on the morning of our departure. The owner had not provided check in details. It was my partners 50th birthday that day and we had no idea if we were going. Stayz helpline tried unsuccessfully to phone the owner twice and had no response, to which I was on the phone to them for 3 hours while they tried to help me!!!. 2 hours before arranged check in we finally got the details........ not good enough. We had already started to frantically look for other accommodation as I had meals and events planned for our time away to celebrate such a special birthday, being Easter weekend, to no avail. It caused untold stress on what should have been such a special day.
