This medieval village was a highlight of our trip. The hotel was excellent as was the restaurant which served wonderful French cuisine. Highly recommend this hotel and Pérouges.

Wonderful Historic Town
We had a wonderful stay in the historic town of Perouges. We loved it BUT people should be aware you are in a historic property built in the 15th century. But I doubt the original owners had heated towel rocks or plentiful hot water. What a great place!!

Our stay at the Hostellerie was superb. On-site manager/owner was gracious and very accommodating! Entire property was so authentic and in perfect condition!

Charming hotel with a very good restaurant. Great patio! A very professional and kind team welcomed us and created a friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. Truly pet friendly!

Mobility issues. interesting town
Warning ! if you have any difficulty in walking over rough terrain Perouges is not for you. Though cobbles can often be managed these cobbles are even difficult for those with no mobility problems. Wheel chair or scooter is impossible. Even with a stick would be very difficult. Cobbles are used on all the roads you would want to walk along. I could not walk around and can only go on a small view but it is obviously so interesting. Hostellerie is amazing. We had a room in the square, ground floor as there is not a lift.which was in a medieval building. Wish breakfast had been better it was 17 euros, expensive. One small glass of orange juice. two pieces of bread, butter, jam. two croissants. Awful coffee out of a jug. That was the biggest disappointment and something that does not usually happen in France

Authentique ou vieux ?
Les chambres sont tres grande mais d'une autre époque. Moquette, carrelage vieillo, tout petite tele sans toutes les chaines, petit dej sommaire (13€ quand meme pour 2 bouts de pain et des viennoiseries). Une auberge dans une cité médievale. Perso je trouve ça tres chere pour la prestation mais le village est magnifique.

Tres bon sejour, hôtel atypique, c'est ce que nous voulions. Tres bon repas au restaurant de l'hôtel. Seul bémol, au vu du standing de l'hotel nous avons ete étonné de ne pas trouvé de petites bouteilles d'eau ni bouilloire ni douceurs dans la chambre, sinon sejour tres agréable dans un endroit hors temps.

On paie la place, prix surfait! Le service et l'acceuil sont tres diriges. Les mets et les vins sont minimalistes. Le petit dejeuner est pas attractif du pain et du pain, rien d'autre et propose. La chambre a plus de 240 euros n est pas ventilee, pas de wc separe, pas de douche separee, bref pas terrible. Dommage le village est top les gens sympas, et les restos aux alentours tres corrects!

Voici un hôtel hors du temps ce qui fait son charme.Ceux qui aiment le gris taupe, les dégradés de couleur et le chic actuel devront rebrousser chemin.l Hôtel est resté dans le jus du 19 siècle pour la décoration de la chambre occupée.DE beaux meubles pour une ambiance de chez grande mère .La télévision lilliputienne est la seule concession au modernisme , la salle de bains sent bon les années 70 mais le tout est confortable LA salle de restaurant est très belle ça sent bon l’auberge ...bémol les chambres sont mal isolées les unes des autres on est dans l ancien , ça grince .....mais c est comme avant et c est pour cela qu il faut se rendre ici

Pérouges est un petit village
Excellent séjour… mais Pérouges est un petit village et non une ville On en fait rapidement le tour ! J'avais prévu 24 heures… c'est trop. J'ai été logé en dehors du bâtiment principal de l'hôtel dans une chambre qui convenait mieux que celle qui avait été réservée. Elle était cependant affichée moins chère que la chambre réservée, sur la porte de la chambre, mais pas sur ma facture finale !! Le cadre général est parfait.

Voyage dans le temps
Voyage dans le temps dans ce magnifique village médiéval qui a su garder tout son charme surtout quand le calme revient après le départ des touristes. Rester une nuit dans ce bel hotel permet d'apprécier encore plus le village
