Great Stay!
Lovely Hotel that is located on the town square, facilities were good, apart from the hotel bar never opening. We booked 3 room’s, 2 were good, 1 was small with a tiny shower! But apart from the tiny shower and closed bar a great hotel with great staff.

I had problems finding the property. The GSP in my rental car didn't even have Peronne in it. Long story short. The Hotel is on a side street between the fort and the town centre.

A great base for visiting the battlefields.
We had a 3 night stay inorder to visit some of the W.W.1 battlefields and the museum. The hotel was in an ideal location in the centre of town but very quiet at night! Although there was no car park, on street parking was available around the corner without any problems. The only downside was on our arrival after a long days driving, we were told that the hotel's restaurant was fully booked and we had to go outside to find somewhere to eat and the town offered limited choice on a Monday night. I would suggest that you phone ahead a couple of days prior to arrival to secure a table if you want to eat at the hotel. Overall, a most pleasing stay and we would happily return.

Very pleasant, traditional hotel. The staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly, but they were far from the worst I have come across. Nice breakfast and lovely local area. Would return as there is a lack of choice in Peronne!

Pleasant hotel
Visited Peronne for Armistice 2018. Hotel was pleasantly clean, the room well proportioned, and breakfast basic but adequate. The only downside was that there were very few restaurants open.... we struggled to find somewhere to eat, but eventually found something that was remarkably good.

Fabulous hotel next to the War Museum.
Great location for visiting WW1 sites - literally next to the big museum. Parking is free in a little carpark 2 mins walk away. All other sites a short drive away. Hotel staff were all lovely and very accommodating. The room was immaculate and very large (we had a family room). The restaurant was great - food delicious.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Hotel needs to provide better and more detailed instructions on how to locate as the entrance is down a side street off the square and there is no “Best Western” signage on the hotel. It is known as the Hotel St Claude by locals. Great location in historical centre, several restaurants and WW1 museum 100m. The handle on our bathroom was broken. Front desk already seemed to know about this when reported.

Simple and clean hotel for a comfortable night. The local town is lovely and has lots of history. Beware if coming from TGV Haute Picardie - took me an hour to get a taxi after calling multiple companies!

Great stopover experience in historic town
My family and I had a great stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we had a huge room that had a really modern design style with 3 single beds and a pull out sofa bed. The building itself is quite old which is apparent from the winding misshapen corridors but this just added to the charm for us. Breakfast was included as a simple continental selection with some hot eggs and bacon. The hotel itself is situated right next to a 9th century fort which has a tonne of history and is gorgeous. The town had a bunch of nice little restaurants for a meal and everyone was very friendly. A perfect stopover on the travel back through France to the EuroTunnel.

A great hotel for visiting The Great War sights
The hotel is in the centre of the town of Peronne and within a pedestrian only street. There are plenty of good local shops, bars and restaurants close by if needed. Free parking is available close to the hotel as well. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful and the room was of a good size and standard. The purpose of the trip was to visit the sites of WW1 and this was made easier due to the proximity to the Somme area and other road connections. The sites around Ypres were only a 90 minute drive away. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on another trip to this region.

A one night stay as a base to explore the local area, we arrived late on a Saturday evening. We were unable to find anywhere locally to serve us an evening meal, but the wonderful hotel staff re-opened their restaurant and served us a fantastic meal (even catering for our difficult vegetarians), all with warmth and outstanding service. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel was ok apart from very dim light in the bathroom. What I found was wrong was that I was charged another £100 above their listed rate for the room over the two days because of the centenary of the Somme. Make money where they can!!!!

lovely hotel close to museaum in Peronne
I thought this hotel was perfect for a 3 star hotel, great location just around the corner from the WW1 museum, just off the town square, easy walking to restaurants, cafe and boulangerie. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and a lovely breakfast, very tasty, not a huge range but adequate and nicely done eggs and bacon so perfect. Ignore comments from others. This hotel is in an old building and rooms rennovated around the original building, very high ceilings, character rooms and stair case, free pool table downstairs. Stayed with my parents and small child and they put us in rooms on the same floor so perfect for our needs. We were there to visit the CWG grave site in Peronne. I also enjoyed a walk around the lake and took my son to the park to play while granparents visited the museum

Not a good place to stay at all at the moment
We were greeted I felt with rudeness by the manager (who was there evening and morning). Every request was met with grudging acquiescence. The hotel was in fact int he process of renovation, but this was no real excuse for the state of service and the place generally. . You should sack the painters who are painting onto uncleaned and dirty walls. It looked pretty cursory job and you should send and inspector to check up on what is going on. There is builders mess around The access to the rooms up a bare staircase and onto dirty carpet was just plain depressing. We cancelled breakfast as we would not have enjoyed remaining int he hot for moment longer than was necessary for our sleep. We were two tired cyclists who had traveled long way. My friend had stayed int he hotel before with hs wife but this time we were both completely appalled by the state of the place and the surly service.

Nice hotel
Being right off the town centre on a Saturday night, it was a little noisy. Good close places to eat. Difficulty with parking on Saturday morning as you have to compete with the towns market and are asked to move further down past the church. Great if wanting to visit the French/Australian museum re WW1 as its less than 5 minutes walk

Great central location with very helpful staff
Loved the location and the parking was nearby. The staff were outstanding. We experienced a power outage in the whole town and despite this, we were served a wonderful light dinner after trying to find any restaurant in town that was open. Wonderful experience in one of France's undiscovered backroads.

The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The location superb and value for money excellent. The rooms were tired but comfortable, not elegant but functional. Everything else made up for the average rooms. With a makeover this would score 5 on all counts for a 3 star hotel.
