"Tout était parfait , même au delà de nos attentes ! Les hôtes sont charmants et très attentionnés . Le gîtes est très bien équipé ( il manque peut être juste une petite lumière douce pour le soir à mettre dans le salon .. mais c'est un détail !) .Nous reviendrons sûrement quand nous reviendrons en Dordogne ! "The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly...

"We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

"We have a wonderful stay at this high class beautifully presented house. Every detail of the interior was beautiful. The garden and swimming pool were all fantastic and our kids had the most amazing time. A short 15min walk into the city centred + the host was kind, helpful and always on hand to answer any questions we had. A wonderful stay. Thank you"

"Très bon séjour appartement très propre. Le canapé est très confortable. Il y a juste deux points négatifs le premier et qu’il n’y a pas Internet et ça je ne sais pas comment on peut aujourd’hui faire sans Internet. Ça a été très compliqué pour moi même pour téléphoner dans la rue il n’y a pas de connexion c’est très difficile et ensuite la vue sur la prison c’est pas top top top mais sinon très bien. "

"We had a very relaxing stay and loved the gardens and surrounding area. The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone. Communication was very good leading up to the stay - a couple of minor delays with responses when at the property but overall good. We would definitely go back "

"The accomodations is arranged over 4 floors with the kitchen and sitting room on the ground level. The bedrooms and bathrooms were situated on the next 3 floors. As we were 3 couples and a baby we were lucky enough to have a floor each which was perfect. The kitchen was very well equiped, coffee machine, ice maker, and a full array of utensils, cooking facilities and crockery should you need. "We have travelled to many towns in this beautiful part of our planet, from groups of 6 (my family) to much larger groups with friends and family groups - this place was epic - service from start to finish - Pascal was around when we needed him, the house and grounds were perfect - the kitchen facilities one of the best for a large group (we were 14) - the Tennis court was a brilliant option to have and use - bike rides (tough hills) are wonderful - would definitely return, for more relaxation/...

"Gorgeous property. All the charm of a French house with clean & modern facilities. Pool was perfect with the most stunning views. Supermarket a short drive and bakery across the road (although sadly closed for our stay). Extremely friendly & helpful hosts. Can't recommend highly enough! "

"I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price."
