"The staff was the highlight of our stay - incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging. Every recommendation was spot on, no request too small or too big, and they did it all with a smile. Absolutely great people. The property was fairly convenient to the center of the action, maybe a 15-20 min walk from the main Plaza. Breakfast was always good and more than we could eat. The rooms are older, with dated furnishings and fixtures but well kept and immaculately clean. For our first trip to Marrakech this place was perfect, and I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't require "luxury" accommodations anytime you leave the house. The adventure of staying at a Riad inside the Medina is an integral part of the Marrakech experience, and we enjoyed our stay at Yakimour. "

"My wife and I stayed at the Riad Palais des Princesses for a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are seeking a modern, clinical type of hotel, this isn't for you - it is however for those wanting to step back in time, soak up the atmosphere and ambiance and to do so in beautiful surroundings. From the moment we arrived the staff were superb as we took our seats for our welcoming Moroccon mint tea and they catered for all our needs throughout our stay. The Riad is perfectly located as a starting point to explore the city, close to the main square and souks. Our suite was beautifully arranged with a unique and quirky entrance room leading to the main bedroom suite and bathroom. The roof top terrace also came to good use as a spot to sit out and relax and enjoy the setting sun. Very much enjoyed our stay."

"The staff is very helpful , location is perfect and also the ac works fine, bathroom Needs a lot of TLC, however water pressure is fine hot and cold water, bk is not international , is limited but I am not a bk person. Suggestion Always pay the hotel Transfer because they will help you with the bags, due to taxis are not allowed inside the Medina. If you book your own taxi you ll have to take your own bags into the riad and believe me, it will be a nightmare. Transfer for us was 15 euros, totally worth it. I would definitely stay again in this Riad. Room very clean and in general hotel is clean."

"Staff were all charming. Breakfast was different and beautiful every morning, some fresh fruit, egg, pastries both Moroccan and French Lovely roof terrace, relaxing central pool area with tables and lounging areas. Perfect for an afternoon cup of Moroccan tea Compared to a lot of Riad's very easy for taxi drivers as it's a 30 second walk from a main(ish) road, but it's still set back so perfectly calm within the Riad. Less than a minute walk from the entrance to the Medina/Souk"

"I travel all year for work and this is the worst hotel i have ever been too. Staff are rude and dont care! Rooms are dated and everything in room was broken including tv, balcony, door iron and safe. Told management but didnt really care Spoke to General Manager Muhammed and he was worse than his staff. Told me he would give me a discount when i go back to hotel as if i ever would. He was rude an arrogant. The changed our room 3 times in 3 days which took hours to do but he couldn't see a problem with that. Rudest General manager iv ever encountered. Pool area is nice with DJ playing but staff just dont care. Im in Marrakech every year and its amazing. Arab culture is so welcoming but this hotel is the opposite. Even every taxi we got in agreed that all they ever heard was problems with this hotel. No wander it has changed names 4 times in past 20 years. Btw is fully under construction but in there true sneaky way they dont tell you. Reception was full of people complaining and all you could hear around the pool area was people with issues with hotel. This was not unique to me. Reviews must be manufactured or fabricated. U must visit Marrakech it is amazing but if you stay at this hotel your trip will be ruined."

"My room was freezing cold. Unfortunately the radiator from 1920 didn’t work. The engineer made 4 trips with different tools at 11:00 at night but still couldn’t get it to work. I slept in my clothes. The shower was lovely but seriously flooded the bathroom with 3 inches of water. My chicken dinner at the Asian restaurant was undercooked which is a recipe for serious illness and rice was $15 extra. Not great value for your money. .the security was oppressive until I understood why and then it was much appreciated. The comped my drink but still "
