Plus side:
The staff was very kind, quick and friendly.
Down side: The hotel lobby didn’t smell good. The room they checked us into, smelled even worse. My wife walked all the way into the room, I made it 3-4 ft inside the door. Looked at her and said, “we’re not staying here”.
Plus side: The staff wasn’t upset I didn’t want to stay and asked to cancel.
Idk side: Waiting to see if I get refunded.
It was awful. check in at a kiosk in the lobby. The room entrances were exterior. While walking the sidewalk to the stairs we passed a few people who were obviously tenants not guest standing in their doorway smoking and drinking with the faint smell of pot. Upon entering the room on the second floor you could clearly tell someone had smoked in that room. There were ashes by the bed and what appeared to be dry blood on the curtain. The floor was sticky. The only thing I can say positive is the bathroom sink was new. We immediately checked out. As we checked out 2 police cars pulled in. I’m hoping we’ll get refunded for the other two nights that we didn’t stay there. But honestly if we don’t it was worth the move.
