Weekend get-away.
Ideally located for what we wanted. Short distant from Minack Theatre, we had tickets to attend event, and plenty of other attractions. Comfortable accommodation, with all requirements needed, provided for. Minor problems with power supply to downstairs lighting, owner attempted to fix, arranging electrician to call, but to no avail. Not a major issue, we coped.

Harvon lea
Harvon lea is a great place and situated in Paul village only a short walk into mousehole the house itself was spotlessly clean and every effort was made to make our stay very comfortable. 3 en suite bathrooms was a real bonus and we hope to return in the future. The owner was quick to reply to messages with any query I had and even left a card and chocs and a bottle of fizz to help us celebrate my big birthday. This was easily the nicest property we have ever stayed at Thankyou

Great cottage and great location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was larger than it appeared on the photos and clean. Lots of amenities and perfect with the en-suite bathrooms. A lovely touch having a bottle of fizz to welcome us in the fridge and milk too. The side entrance was perfect for a pushchair. The position was great to walk in to Mousehole and sample some of the wonderful restaurants. Plus it was easy to visit the surrounding area including Sennen for the surf. We would return.

Absolutely Beautiful Cottage.
Beautiful cottage with all the amenities you could possible want from a holiday cottage plus more. Front entrance, the steps are a bit steep but there is a side entrance with a lot easier access. Very handy if you come home wet and muddy from One of the lovely walks around the village with your four legged friend/s. The back door leads straight into the utility room which has all the facilities required to clean up, there is even a gate to stop your pet/s from taking the mud inside the cottage. The washing machine was very handy to. Having en-suites in every bedroom is a real plus, no waiting around in the Mornings to get ready. We didn't actually use the Kitchen for anything other then making drinks but it has everything you need (Dishwasher a real bonus) Toilet rolls left ready to use and a nice bottle of wine sitting chilled in the fridge, milk waiting for that much needed drink on arrival was a nice touch. Parking has been mentioned in previous reviews, we never encountered any problems with parking always available very close to the cottage. Harvon Lee is the perfect base to explore West Cornwall, from Mousehole, Newlyn, Penzance, Lands End etc etc. If Alan will have us we will definitely be back next year.

The cottage is welcoming, comfortable and is of a very high standard throughout. It's in a peaceful location and having previously stayed in Mousehole where parking can at best be described as challenging, the unrestricted parking on the quiet road outside the cottage-and in fact throughout Paul-meant parking the cars was never a problem. Harvon Lee is a delightful, idyllic house in which to enjoy a Cornish holiday.

Pleased to hear the cottage was warm and cozy as we head towards winter, Cottage’s by there nature are a tight fit for the larger person, possibly a different choice of property in the future would be beneficial.

Lovely quiet and welcoming cottage
We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing holiday at this wonderfully equipped cottage. The village is quiet and has a lovely pub, which unfortunately was closed for dining during our stay. The walk into Mousehole is easy enough and The Old Coastguard highly recommended for food and views, but if you're not a fan of hills brace yourself for the walk back! The step up to the cottage front door is quite high so probably not that suitable for the elderly or less agile, although we made use of the side access mostly as we had dogs with us. This was a godsend to keep them and the property clean, and the utility area is very well equipped for this purpose. Parking was never a problem and we found plenty of places to walk the dogs around the village for early morning and evening walks. Location is ideal for exploring West Cornwall and we had trips to Porthleven, Praa Sands beach, Perranuthnoe beach (cafe is great for breakfast barms after a walk on the beach), St Ives, Penzance and Marazion in between visiting local friends. We would definitely return to Harvon Lee in the future.

Thanks for your review it does sum up the cottage and it’s location very well. Understandably parking availability is a one of the most frequently asked questions of guests considering making a reservation and your comments are welcoming, as there has never been a issue with parking. Plans have already been drawn up to make the old stone steps leading to the front door a bit more friendlier for people with worn out knees: like myself! We would love to welcome you back.

Fab Little Gem
Well what can I say - if you book this little gem you will not be disappointed. We booked last minute as they had a cancellation. House was lovely - had 3 en-suites and 4 toilets! Huge fridge freezer, dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine - home from home :) The location was great - little stressful managing the winding country lanes but once you have done it a couple of times you get used to it. Lovely pub down the road that takes dogs for your eve meal. Best to book in advance on line - Lovely walk into Mousehole - not much there but nice for a walk in the eve and a pint of beer :) We had a lovely time - visited lots of places which were within 30mins drive so not too tiring - lovely pint of milk tea bags and biscuits left for us upon arrival - no shop in Paul so be prepared. Parking wasn't an issue - you can part outside house or down the road. Garden was small but ok to sit out and have a glass of wine in the evening. All in all a fabulous little gem and one we will certainly go back and revisit. Thank you

perfect holiday cottage
A cosy, yet spacious holiday cottage in a lovely village location. Having 3 en-suite bathrooms plus a downstairs loo was invaluable to us having teenage daughters! The outside space was lovely, great to chill out in the evening, plus a great safe place to wash down and store all the beach gear. The kitchen was really well equipped, felt like home. The only thing it was missing was an ice-tray for the freezer, no ice in the local supermarkets either

Lovely property
The host Alan was helpful and prompt in responding to any questions I had, even responding to me in the car on the journey to the cottage!!The house was so good for 6 adults, great to have 3 bathrooms plus a loo downstairs! We took kayaks and paddle boards and having the large utility room for storage was useful. Plus an outside tap for cleaning salt water and the side access gate gave easy access to the garden. If you took a dog on holiday it would be perfect staying here. The walk to Mousehole was easy and as we parked in Paul so much more convenient than trying to drive in! Yes the walk back was uphill but easily done. We wouldn’t recommend the Kings Arms in the village, we thought it was overpriced for average food. We would totally recommend the Old Coastguard in Mousehole- great food & drinks choices and lovely friendly service . We walked the coastal paths from the cottage, walked into Newllyn. The cottage is a fantastic place to base your time in the area. I would recommend it to anyone

A lovely cottage that has been finished to a very high standard and family friendly. Would be useful to have a travel cot and high chair to save bringing them from home. The location is excellent and all of west Cornwall is in easy reach and Mousehole is just a short walk, even our 2 year old walked most of the way up the hill. Would definitely recommend and happily return.

Harvon Lee is a beautiful house in a lovely peaceful location. We loved being able to walk down to Mousehole with the children to go rock pooling and we had a fabulous boat trip out from the harbour to spot seals. We loved our week in the cottage from the minute we walked in the front door! It had everything we needed and more, so cozy and comfy! We walked for miles, and enjoyed Mousehole on several occasions, even the walk back up the hill, even if we did have to carry puppy Fred! We would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore and enjoy Cornwall, a short distance from many interesting places to visit, with some lovely walks thrown in! We can't wait to return! We were even welcomed with flowers, cookies and wine! Thanks Allan it was a great week.

Dull outside but lovely and cosy inside!
This was a really late booking as we were unable to go to our other one due to storm damage and what a great place. There were 5 of us and our old labrador. It was a fab place with everything you could ask for at the property. We were even welcomed by flowers and mince pies...thank you. All the little things you need were there... washing up liquid, soap in bathrooms and towels. Beds were comfy and the house was warm downstairs. We even used the log burner. Bathrooms all great and clean and bright To make it even better this time of year we could have done with a small drier as really did not want to put the dog towels in tumble drier and too wet to use the washing line. The area is lovely and we had done great walks around by the cricket club and back through the cemetery . People we saw were friendly Thank you Alan and Christine .. we hope to book again.

Glad we could help out at short notice, and that you enjoyed the cottage. A clothes maid to put in the boot room is a good idea, as opposed to using the tumble dryer for dogs towels, I will get one.

Just what the Doctor ordered.
The whole experience from booking the holiday to the accommodation itself was stress free. The cottage was beautifully presented. Everything was thought out with great detail. Exceptionally clean and there wasn't anything we needed once there. Great place for a family. Location was picturesque with lovely coastal walks to adjoining villages. My only negative, would have to be. Not for people with mobility difficulties. The rather steep hill back up to the house if you walk out for even a paper of a morning, is no easy task. No amenities on the doorstep. So it meant using the car or accepting that an hours walk/hike round trip is required, should you run out of milk etc. But fine for the fitter people in the group. We took our elderly parents in their 70's. They had a problem. All that aside, it was a pleasurable stay and we will continue to visit Cornwall. Many thanks.

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR A GETAWAY
We couldn't have asked for more with this large bright cottage, which is clean and modern, with everything you needed and great that you can park outside, to get a quick getaway to some of our favourite haunts. We have previously stayed in Mousehole a short ten minute walkaway, but parking was an issue, well not here it isn't. There are some great walks and the walk into Mousehole is a great way to stretch your legs before exploring the beautiful harbour and local shops etc...... I give this Cottage a ten star rating and will certainly be back for an autumn break. A credit to the owners.

Our first review, and it's nice to know that the cottage was enjoyed and came upto expectations. Yes! Sensible parking is permitted in the village, but be careful not to prevent buses from free passage or you could have your vehicle removed. The village has more than 8 public footpaths leading of in all directions....so great for walkers choosing a different route each day.
