It’s was a little home away from home. So thankful they are pet friendly. Was nice to be able to cook for myself and spread out. Much better than your average hotel room.

This is a funky 1950s-retro-style motel. The location was great..situated right across from Okanagan lake. The beds were super comfy, rooms were reasonably clean. This is a great family spot with lots of walking options nearby. There are several restaurants within walking distance. There’s a fair bit of noise that travels between the rooms if you happen to be a light sleeper. Overall good value for the cost.

Some rooms are renovated, and we asked to be moved to a renovated room because we were staying for 4 nights. The owner was very accomodating. The rooms are very clean. Pool is nice and clean.

We had a great stay at the Bowmont Motel. The location was perfect with everything we needed nearby, and the staff provided wonderful customer service. Our room was clean and met all our basic needs, with that kitschy blast from the past vibe that was actually quite charming. The pool is fabulous and we really enjoyed it. The price was excellent value, especially for budget travelers who want a comfortable place to rest. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what we were looking for. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

First stay at this motel, and won’t be the last. We booked the one bedroom suite and it was spacious for our whole family. Loved not needing room key cards and instead having a code for the door. The kids utilized the pool, and enjoyed all the pool toys and floaties provided by the motel. Wished the hot tub was up and running but it wasn’t. Older motel but well taken care of, and I loved the retro feeling of it. Took 3 minutes to walk to the beach. It’s across the street from Loco Landing Adventure Park.

The Bowmont is a great for gathering groups, with the common dining/cooking area. The location is unbeatable, right across from Loco Landing and a block from the beach, but not along the main beach (less walking traffic.) Downsides: the building is old (example - anyone using water in your unit or other units turns the water scalding); the office being closed after 6pm is sometimes inconvenient; sound travels well when groups hang out outside late - but all of that is fine as long as you're prepared.

Well situated with a pool

Although a little older (my wife remembers staying here as a teenager) it was clean. A previous guest had stolen the HDMI cable for the tv (yes we have Netflix on my iPad and laptop) but once informed they came quickly to fix. Steps from the beach, bike rentals and some good restaurants. Starbucks and Tim Hortons also also not far.

Good value, basic budget motel. The location is near the lake, restaurants and the main sports/entertainment venue in Penticton. Rooms are dated and a bit tired, but mine was a good size, well-maintained and clean. I visited in off-season and arrived after hours, and there were no staff in the office, but communication was good and I was given pass code for the room. I would stay there again when next in Penticton.

Excellently maintained suite that was perfect for my family. The room had everything we needed. It is no frills and obviously a retro motel, but outstanding for the price. The courtyard, pool, BBQ area, and patios were perfect. It far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely stay here again.
