"We enjoyed our family getaway at the Retreat at Bear Creek Lakes and made some wonderful memories! The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of amenities for our family. We especially loved the theater room, and my grandson was thrilled with the Spider-Man decorations! I also loved the beautiful downstairs bathroom wallpaper.Samuel was an exceptional host! He was kind, attentive, and extremely responsive before and throughout our stay. We genuinely appreciated his hospitality and willingness to help.While the property has many wonderful features, the overall presentation and upkeep didn't quite meet the expectations we had based on the listing photographs and cost of our stay.Accessibility was a major factor in choosing this home because my father has significant mobility limitations. Although the advertised equipment was provided, some accommodations proved difficult for him to use. We also experienced recurring electrical issues and a frightening situation involving the chairlift. Thankfully, no one was injured, and Samuel was quick to arrange assistance.Overall, we appreciated the home and especially our wonderful host. With some additional attention to maintenance and accessibility, this property could offer an exceptional guest experience."

"The stay at the Glen Onoko was beyond amazing! The place was super clean and accommodating with everything! We had the pleasure of meeting the host Dee and her husband Mark and what a great couple. They gave us some advise on places to go and do around Jim Thorpe, offered us more umbrellas as it was raining, and just overall awesome people! They take great care of their properties and their guests! Would return and use Dee and this property again!"

"Cabin was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. My only suggestion would be to add a few grab bars in the bathrooms for the senior set. We enjoyed the lovely area and the lake. Had a fun time."

"We had a great stay, clean house. Our only grievance is that there was a s’mores bar and fire pit with supplies but no working fire source. The lighter in the house wouldn’t work. There were also not enough large trash bags in the house, but we made due."
