Welcome to your riverfront escape! Our newly renovated shack is set right on the Murray, just 10 minutes upstream from Mannum, and is designed with families and groups in mind. With six bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two spacious living areas, and sweeping river views from the upstairs decks, it’s the perfect place to relax, play, and reconnect.

Downstairs:
2 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 singles), bathroom & toilet, laundry, kitchenette & lounge, and access to the undercover entertaining area.

Check-Out:
We ask guests to leave the shack tidy (do dishes, return red dishes downstairs, put rubbish in bins, and clean appliances used). Your cleaning fee is refundable if these are done.

This is a shack designed for family memories — whether you’re skiing and fishing, watching the kids play on the lawns, sharing pizza by the fire, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine as the sun sets over the Murray.

Perfect location, great accomodation!

Michelle and Steves place is the perfect spot for a quiet retreat on the river with family and friends. There are several comfortable areas to choose from for meals and lounging around, fabulous views and great amenities. Loved our stay!

Amazing place and location

Absolutely amazing place, with a location to die for. Was a beautifully relaxing week, watching my kids in the river on their kayaks or on the boat with dad. Topped off by the most spectacular fireworks display for the new year.

Top spot on the river.

We loved our three generation family stay at this great location. The kids played and fished and the adults relaxed. The fenced yard was secure for the youngsters. Communication with the owners was excellent.

Amazing!

We have stayed at many places on the river and this property is a new favourite. Lots of thoughtful touches, beautiful location and a lovely place. Great for a large group or two families. We will be back. The owners are also great communicators and were very understanding when we had to shuffle dates. Thank you!

Family getaway

Lovely holiday home. Had a great stay with the family from Queensland, Victoria and SA. Lots of room to spread out and perfect for the children with lots of activities- trampoline, fishing and games! Great spot for skiing with boat ramp 400 meters away. We will be back!!

Nice & relaxing

We enjoyed the fire drum on 2 nights. There was plenty of carp to catch as well as a few callop. The kitchen & dining area is excellent. The downstairs screen door is broken. In general the 11 of us had an excellent time.

Idyllic river setting

As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again.

Loved our little getaway here. Michelle was great to deal with, flexible & always responded promptly. The property was clean, modern and provided everything we needed. The layout suited us perfectly. Kids loved having the use of the jetty to go fishing & the trampolines were a hit as well. Great location, not even 10 mins out of Mannum so quick trips to the shops were easily done. Family Holiday

R&T's was a very spacious holiday home with all the comforts of home but with a stunning view of the River. The fenced area was really large and perfect to keep our dog secure. The only disappointment we found was knowing our checkout time was near and that we would have to leave such a wonderful holiday home. 😊 One of the best holidays we've had! Thanks Michelle and Steve.
