Ideally placed for visits to Volterra, Pisa and day-trips to the coast, Villa Angelica is a lovely two-storey villa in a charming village. A grocery shop and restaurant are both within walking distance, and there is a pretty garden with fantastic views across the forests and Etruscan hills. A large paved terrace, partially shaded by a pergola, can be found beside the pool, complete with elegant outdoor furniture and a dining table. Meanwhile, a second and larger dining table can be found across the courtyard underneath a trellis of wisteria.

Decorated with exquisite taste, but also practical and spacious, it’s hard not to be impressed with Villa Angelica. The pool and outdoor dining areas are particularly luxurious, with postcard-ready views that stretch for miles and miles. Plus, with such easy access to local amenities in the peaceful village, you only need to take a short walk to get everything you need. However, if you do decide to venture further out, you’re never too far away from a great day-trip. The owner arranges a complimentary wine-tasting experience in a local winery for his guests.



Inside, you’ll find a house of unmistakable class, but also with homely welcoming charm. Large spacious rooms with high ceilings and a timeless décor throughout – there’s plenty of room for everyone. While the villa certainly looks great, these designs have not been made at the expense of comfort. Throughout the house and courtyards, you’ll find plenty of serene places to sit and to lounge in peace.
