Why Prairie Snowbirds Love Spending Winter in the Central Okanagan
It’s no secret that Prairie winters can be long, harsh, and relentless. Between –30°C cold snaps, biting winds, and months of indoor living, many Prairie residents dream of a gentler winter experience. But you don’t need to fly to Arizona or Mexico to find it—many Snowbirds are discovering that the Central Okanagan in British Columbia offers a perfect balance of mild weather, affordability, and convenience.
FOR BOOKING 28 DAYS OR LONGER A BC TENANCY LEASE AGREEMENT WILL NEED TO BE COMPLETED.
We are a licensed B&B with the District of Peachland # 5075. We are also members of the Peachland Chamber of Commerce.

Our second stay at the Eagles Nest was even better than the first. Wonderful comfortable and cozy with that amazing view. Everything we could need was available. We really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening. We’re already look forward to our next visit.
The Eagles Nest has everything you could need for a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the amazing views from the deck with a glass of wine by the fire. Peachland is a cute lakeside town with a great Sunday market and art gallery in a historic school. We can't wait to return.
This was such a cute apartment with the most gorgeous view of the lake from the deck, through the huge ponderosa pine trees. Very clean and neat, with a well appointed kitchen and even laundry. The hosts were very welcoming, and we had a lovely stay. Would love to stay here again!
It was a wonderful stay, cute cozy home ! Close to everything you would want to do , beach, store , walks , restaurants ! Really was a lovely place . We hope to come back next year ! Thanks Murray and Valerie !
Nice stay in Peachland with beautiful view of lake
The property is very nice just like the pictures reflected. Host provided breakfast items in the fridge which was a nice surprise including other condiments as well.
Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and cooking utensils. Highly recommend staying here for the spectacular view and quiet location just agree minutes drive from Peachland
An amazing cozy rental with all the amenities needed and beautiful deck with awe inspiring view of Lake Okanagan. They even provided eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, butter, jams, condiments and yogurt in addition to coffee, and all the spices and dishes/utensils you’d ever need to do your own meals.
Exceptionally well supplied with all the necessities and more. The promo photo is true ... a wonderful viewscape. Just 1 block walk to good hiking further up the ridge. Comfy, clean, couldnt ask for more than is offered here.
We often get to travel to do work for our clients and we had to go to Peachland this time. Not big on staying places but Murray was awesome with getting us settled. It was a very beautiful place with the view that was amazing. Enjoyed it very much and would definetly stay again. Cheers to them for all they provided for my son and myself
Directions to the suite were clear. The suite was clean and well stocked with breakfast food items to get you started. The spacious balcony is an important feature of this property. Not only is there a great view of the lake there is also a fire table and seating for time to relax. The location is great for access to the lake or touring the numerous local area wineries. The suite has an air conditioner and several ceiling fans that make the unit comfortable. We enjoyed our week at this location and would certainly recommend it.
We have stayed in many rentals over the years, in different countries and this was by far one of the most well-appointed places we have been in. The condo is private, well thought out and quiet with beautiful views. We very much enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be able to come back in the near future.
Absolutely loved the little creature comforts in the fridge and the view was fantastic! Very peaceful and quiet, close to cute places and restaurants. We enjoyed our time!
Lovely spot, enjoyed our time and wish we had longer. Peachland is close to everything and so beautiful, the Eagles nest was a wonderful place to call home during our stay in this area.
Truly a gem! The views are stunning as pictured, the hosts are nice and friendly, the suite is immaculately clean and unusually well-stocked. This is by far the best place I've ever stayed. Extras like a filtered water tap, comfy beach chairs to take to lake (although I did not really want to leave that deck/view), comfy throws besides plentiful bedding, etc. Just everything - wonderful!

Wonderful views. Fire table. Bbq but didn’t use. Sofa was comfortable. Didn’t know it was a pull out! Nice bathroom. Lots of extras like lotion, binoculars, bottle opener. Kitchen gadgets, ice.
Great property close to the town of peachland with amazing views and everything we needed. The fridge stocked with enough groceries for a couple breakfasts was a wonderful surprise!
