Great place for a quick stay in a remote area. You can hear the train many times each night but they do tell you in advance and offer ear plugs. We were so tired we were just happy to have a clean room with a cold ac and restaurant on site.

Stayed here the night before our Havasupai Falls Hiking trip. It is updated, very clean, and the staff is helpful. Small convenience store with snacks, drinks and souvenirs. Gas station across the street with additional grocery goods and toiletries. It feels safe. The only down side is the train horns, they provide ear plugs for this reason. It didn't make a difference for me.

If you are driving from Phoenix to hike Havasupai then you have the Cavern Inn as an option and Hualapai Lodge. I’ve stayed at both now and recommend Hualapai over Cavern Inn. Although you have to check in for the wrist bands etc at Cavern Inn, Hualapai has a great restaurant that stays open late and opens early, convenient laundry mat, pool and hot tub, great wifi, nicer rooms, a store inside to get last min items and about the same distance drive to the trailhead. I would come back to stay here if I hiked Havasupai again.

In my opinion this place is the best option in the area. I would stay here again. You do hear trains a little but bring a little fan or noise maker and you won’t be woken up at all. Nice remodeled rooms and friendly people. No alcohol on site fyi.

The hotel and my room were clean and functional and in reasonably good repair. The location of the hotel is a very rundown town, beside the main highway. It is a functional stopping point, but certainly not a “destination”.

The property backs up to train tracks. Probably should be advertised. We arrived and were shocked as to how loud it was in the hotel. Had a hard time sleeping.

This is the best place to stay if you are doing the River Runners Rafting trip. There is really nothing else around the area so you are limited to the restaurant at the hotel only. Overall this is an average hotel.
