Very well furnished lodge style decor. Many pieces of furniture hand crafted from wood from this area. Private secluded property, perfect for a romantic get away. Not suitable for small children because of the steep inclines and high end furnishings. Pet friendly with a small doggy door leading to a small gated area. .

This mountain home is both quiet and private and yet easily accessed from the highway and a few miles from town. There are two large bedrooms each with a king sized bed.

A Magical Stay

This was the most perfect stay. The property is gorgeous and immaculate. The hot tub and fire pit under the stars were incredible. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back one day!

The location was very convenient and close enough to town to run out to dinner, but also provided privacy. The house is very elegant and beautiful.

Great Stay

Great isolated location up on hillside! You do take a short dirt road while driving up. Saw elk every evening. Interior was decorated to give a true cabin feel! Great fireplaces, floor to ceiling windows. Awesome place for some R&R and not too far from the city!

Perfectly peaceful

It was everything we wanted it to be: a quiet mountain getaway. The home was unique and beautiful. We stargazed from the hot tub, played games on the patio, and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding scenery. We loved it!

Lovely views and home!

Home has great views and is very comfortable. Also has great outdoor living space!The only negative is the drive up a bumpy, steep road and driveway. The neighborhood is not walkable but there was a nice park about a mile away where we took the dogs.

Relaxing getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive and making sure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect – close to local attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet peaceful and quiet. I especially loved the thoughtful touches like fresh towels, a fully stocked kitchen, and a comfortable bed. It really felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Magical

The house was beautiful, and so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing, and the experience was wonderful. I wish I could give it 10 stars - 5 stars just doesn't feel like enough. The owner was so kind and considerate.

Wonderful Home

Faye's home is absolutely beautiful and presents a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The nature that surrounds the home makes it exceptional. Way beyond most rental homes

This is a showplace type home - super furnishings, top-line appliances, dog run and doggy door, hot tub, nice view, high ceilings, and a good feeling of privacy. High recommendation from us.

New years getaway

We were looking for somewhere to go to get away from the fireworks in our area. We are so glad we found this house. It was perfect for a getaway, clean and well kept. It had everything we needed and more. The owner was very responsive. We would definetly reserve this home again.

Lovely little Hideaway

The home was clean and beautiful with an impressive mountain view. Comfortable couches to lounge on and ample towels for showering/hot tub. The outdoor hot tub had such great star gazing views as well. We would stay again. Host was quick to respond to needs and questions. Was an overall great experience and having our dogs with us was a plus! Multiple neighborhood dogs did come up to us while sitting outside at one point. They were friendly but on the larger side so just be aware you might have some doggy visitors during your stay.

Weekend Away

Went up with my college daughter to work on a project she had. Did a little hiking and checked out Payson. The house was lovely and beds were extremely comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. Even brought our dog with us, which was wonderful to them for walks. I will definitely try to rent this location again in the future.

Girl's Getaway

Faye's property was absolutely wonderful. Close to Payson for stocking up on any needed supplies (the house has a lot of things as well), but it is tucked away behind the hills in such a way that makes it feel more remote. The view of the sky from the hot tub was perfect for stargazing. We thoroughly enjoyed having our morning coffees at the outdoor dining area as well as relaxing in the afternoon sun on the patio furniture. The Christmas decorations along with general cabin decor felt so cozy. We will be sure to check Faye's availability for our next trip!

Luxury getaway

Nothing beats a dream home in the mountains!! The home was very clean and had everything we needed to relax. We brought our food to cook or reheat and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also had our dog with us and Faye really makes doggies feel welcome with dog treats and a comfy dog bed in the bedroom, which Sage enjoyed! In the evening after our hike we enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and relaxing by the gas fireplace. Our last morning we took our breakfast and our pup to the fenced in patio overlooking the mountains, in the front of the house, and enjoyed a relaxing breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return one day.

Nice place

Overall the place was nice and comfortable. Easy to find with the directions from the owner. Only issues were intermittent internet connection. Streaming movies was difficult. Continuously kicked out of the app and sometimes the tv would go to a home screen. There wasn't enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub past the first set of jets to make it enjoyable. I located the hot water heater and turned it up. The next night there was plenty of hot water. The fireplaces created a great ambience and the giant picture windows made it easy to take in the scenic view.I would visit this place again.

The house was perfect for us! We brought our small dogs and there was a fenced in run off the back door and a great fenced in lower deck. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings and evening sunsets on the deck with the dogs. The hot tub was private with great views of the mountains behind the property. The decor was really great and gave the house a cozy mountain feeling. The kitchen and grill accommodated our needs. One evening we saw a large male elk just below the deck, pretty cool. The only critique is the house is high on a hill, so evening walks aren’t possible without having to walk up the steep incline. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay! Close to Payson and tons of hiking, biking and ATV trails. Highly recommend!!
