"Our recent visit to Veranda Resort Hotel was a last minute decision based on an unplanned trip to Roatan. However, we were lucky to find very affordable rates through Travelocity, which proved to be a steal. What we found was an amazing 5 star accomodations that began with our check-in, assisted by a young lady named Sam, followed up by dinner, and a personable staff, headed by the Manager Hector, who introduced us to several local drink options, and his staff. "That staff was super nice and helpful. The area is very relaxing. There are not a lot of things to do other than relax. Although the swimming at the beach is accessible there is not really walk in snorkeling right at Camp Bay, so we did a day trip for snorkeling and had a great time. The food at the restaurant was some of the best food we had on the island."

"This was the perfect house to use a landing spot for a dive vacation and getting out to enjoy the culture the Roatan has to offer. Henry was amazing and super helpful. I would absolutely recommend this property for solo or group travelers."

If that isn't enough, Bentley and Mercedes will greet you every day (two Saint Bernards).They have their own private beach with reef access that is awesome ... Beautiful with lots of fish. Kayaks and snorkeling gear included.They also run a tour company ... From fishing trips and snorkeling, to the Sloth and Monkey hangout, and tours of the islands famous West End.
