"Arriving at an Hotel and having no ability to drop bags at reception is odd, at best. Having to acquire a porter cradle/trolly, to go back to the cars and load them up and take the bags to our rooms is frankly, unacceptable. What the physically impaired do to arrive at this hotel in one piece is beyond me. AND what happens in poor or wet weather? Other than that, our stay was really good thank you. Thank you also for the many EV charger points. The supplier is OK helping download the app. 3 of us - not the same party - were struggling at the same time. but it got done, even if very expensive. If I owned Warner Hotels, I would install charger facility from my own 3 phase systems and change much less, whilst still making a healthy profit. Is there a reason not to do this? Finally, when my friend and I looked at our two room accounts, we noted that we had not been charged for any dinners. We informed reception and paid the missing £240. Had we walked away, you would have never known. You should look at your software systems with urgency. All in all we had a good time and we used many facilities, save fine dining, which we will try next time. BUT we are honest people that look to have fun, not look to complain. I hope therefore, that these comments are of some use to you. Best Phil and Molly Edge"

"A lovely quirky & very old hotel. We had a great stay & will come back again. Not really any negatives above what you would expect from an old historic building. Attention to detail could be improved in a few area's, but these are minor, picky things. Positives far outweigh the negatives. Great building,l & great location to town. Family room was very nice & spacious, staff were friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfast (cold plates at 1st breakfast! Attention to detaiil). Swimming pool was excellent & 13year old loved it, as did I! A great short vacation & will return.."

"The property was very short staffed. drinks and other things were left all over the facility making it feel dirty and not well maintained. Was most difficult to get a drink or service while at the beautiful outdoor pool. The grounds are important to taking in. Staff was a bit difficult and rude about having my grandchildren visit during the day but sort of this one of the managers."
