"Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. Large, beautiful rooms. Breakfasts were lovely, and we really enjoyed the option of one of Michael’s incredible dinners. Really happy to have found Maison Mulato. If you go, make sure to spend a...
"Very clean (excellent), well located house with plenty of space for families or friends. Pleasant view on a small vineyard Convenient with large area to prepare, and store, food.
Good communication too made our two night stay very relaxing."
"This is one of the most beautiful spots I have EVER stayed. Frederic and Raphael were INCREDIBLE hosts. We loved every moment of our time there and will be back in the future. Highly, highly recommend — whether you’re a group of friends (as we were), a family or even a couple on a romantic vacation. This place is perfect. "
"We stayed for 2 nights and it could not have been better. The staff was so helpful and provided us with recommendations and reservations. The restaurant was superb and an unbelievable experience. The suite was amazing. Thank you Hotel de Pavie for making our trip to Saint Emelion exceptional. "
"Everything was beyond expectations! Staffs were very nice, room was spotlessly clean and convenient. If we have a chance to visit Saint-Emilion again, we would definitely stay at this hotel again! "

"Welcomed by a sweet couple who were very attentive to any possible needs. The home and room are lovely, super clean, well kept and quiet. Our host, Clement, was a storehouse of information regarding the area, and fun to chat with as he is a wine maker and quite knowledgeable about the history of locally produced wines. Without doubt, we would gladly stay there again."
"Terrible experience. We were not provided an access email or key to enter the room, and waited for over an hours outside until we finally were able to receive the email with the code to enter the building and room. For some, they may enjoy a super small 25 sqm room with only a small couch as a bed. But for us, there was no joy because there was no electricity or hot water in the room! When we spoke (again) with the property manager, he and his dad assumed the electricity was likely turned off due to the unpaid bills or as they said “no electricity contract” by unit owner. Again we waited to communicate with Expedia and management company for hours until Finally, the property manager moved us to a different unit. By then it was past 9 pm and over four hours had passed since we arrived. For those considering this unit, it is on the third floor without an elevator. The rooftop had a table and chairs because there wasn’t any room in the unit. The unit may have been a fun bohemian adventure about 50 years ago when adults were smaller… but there are several other options to explore and consider. We were lucky the manager relocated us and all we lost was time. "

Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern. The kitchen was well equipped and the table seated 6 people comfortably. Our host, Christophe, answered all our questions promptly.Overall a very nice stay in the Bordeaux region. "
After visiting Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Libourne, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Libourne. Stroll along the area's riverfront or simply enjoy its restaurants.
