Good value for your money…basic clean, functional hotel room with all the expected amenities of a budget hotel. Excellent location off 2nd road, close to Central Festival and Tree Town area.

Great location, though no king beds as advertised
Was a pleasant enough stay, clean, newly furnished and quiet room considering location. However the website advertises the room as having King beds. This is definitely not the case, they are standard doubles. Staff room seems to spill out onto undercovered pool area, which makes it anything but inviting. I never saw anyone use it while I was there.

It was my first time stayed at Scenery City Hotel. I liked the room and balcony, decent size room. The problem I had which made me feel really bad that I lost some money from safety box on the 3rd day L. I talked to the day time front desk lady and asked her to talk to the hotel management and let them know but no one contacted me and she said don’t put money in safety box. I didn’t claim because I didn’t want to ruin my vacation by chasing a ghost. A friend of mine lost money a few days after his arrival too. And on my second last day I ran to another guy who brought a police to hotel for the same reason. But since people often have guest over no one can prove anything……. All 3 of us stayed multiple time in Pattaya but it was first time that happened to us. I AM NOT ACCUSING ANYONE AT ALL and just asking Hotel management please do a proper investigation to prevent that in the future …...

I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel as the staff steals from your safety deposit box when you are out. They don't take all your money as they hope you will not notice until it is to late but I did notice, When reporting this to the reception they were rude and unhelpful The police and tourist police were informed and was of the same conclusion that the staff had used the safety deposit key to open the safe and take the money. but with the lack of cctv could not prove it as the staff was less than helpful Stay at this hotel at your peril or you don't mind being robbed

Conveniently located hotel. Rooms are basic but spacious and have glass sliding doors for lots of light and a view, plus a balcony. Good value for money. Have stayed before and will stay again.

8th and last time staying here.
This was my 8th time staying at this hotel and unfortunately my last. The hotel itself is ok although getting a bit dated now. The issue was the bad experience I had with the reception staff. Firstly on arrival was told they were very busy and that my room was not ready yet. After a long 36 hours travelling all you need is a shower and to relax. On my previous 7 trips it was not an issue to have the room early this trip could not. Secondly one particular member of staff accused my wife of being a bargirl. Even though we have the same surname and she checked in at the same time as me. Seems the only guests the hotel are interested in are Japanese single men. It's a shame in the current climate in Pattaya and Thailand where they want to make it a "world class" tourist destination all they are interested in is single men who pay for the delights of Pattaya. There are plenty of other better/cheaper/more polite hotels available and I will be taking my custom elsewhere on my 2 trips a year.

Good clean room with a good location.. I was at front of hotel 5th floor surprised how quiet it was. Room is just lacking coffee, hot water pot and a phone, had to go to friend room every time to talk to him.

Housekeeping expected tip
I don't normally tip the housekeeping staff, as a recommendation from my friend I left a tip on the bed the first day. This prompted one staff member to remind us everyday to leave a tip. This was annoying. The same staff member charged me extra to clean a dirty towel. I had been walking in dirt the previous day and used the towel to wipe my shoes. This was dirt, not grease or any other substance. The amount wasn't much, but this was going into her pocket, not the hotel. My friend and I informed the hotel when we left, so I don't believe this will happen again.

A great hotel right in the middle of the action.
A nice modern hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and are made up daily. The only slight niggle would be that the room doesn't have a kettle, so I couldn't make a coffee in the morning or last thing at night. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Scenery City Hotel.
Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, location close to food and nightlife. Only complaint is no kettle to boil hot water, and charges a guest fee.

By far i had the worst experience in this hotel. When i entered the hotel i encountered grumpy and indifferent staff who rudely asked for my passport. No formal greetings or smile. Staff ruined my whole stay. Housekeeping at its worst. The most disturbing aspect was the attitude of the staff. Forget about customer service. You wont feel welcomed at this property. Towels were yellowish and dirty and when complained to the staff ....showed very little to no response. Staff fell short at every kind of request. I NOTICED that the staff smiled only to THAI LOCALS. I felt as if they don't like foreigners. Hotel Room (deluxe balcony) was decent but the staff ruined my stay. They avoided me at all the times while entering & exiting the hotel. So i wont recommend this hotel to solo or family travelers.

First time staying here and I really liked it. The a/c worked great and the room was clean. The hotel staff was nice and it's a guest friendly hotel. The best part for me is the location. Close to lk metro and soi buakhao but just a 5 min walk to soi 8 or soi 7.
