"We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight. The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and hot plate, which was awesome for cooking ourselves a light breakfast and/or making tea. 3 beaches are walking distance from the hotel: Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Sturla, so the location was perfect for us. "It is a pleasant apartment but rather gloomy because of the outside shutters.The stairs up were quite steep.There were some lovely shops, bars and restaurants very close to the property. There was a bus stop nearby and the buses were frequent but always crowded"
