"Amenities advertized or posted on the web are untrue. Washing machine, oven - not working, broken. No trash can, no floor rug in bathroom, no shower curtain in bathroom so if you take a shower, water goes all over the floor. They provided shower curtain after a few days, only after my email when I mentioned that it may cause liability and very unsafe as it may cause slip and fall for us. That was the only time they listened. Be very careful to book this apartment as all the amenities like oven and washing machine are inoperable. I have copies of email communication with them about all the issues or complaints. They provided 2 local phone contacts which you can only leave a message, as it’s an answering machine. I left 2 or 3 messages about above issues, no call back from them. I had to email them and list all issues and complaints, and all they provided was the shower curtain. Very deceiving or dishonest about the amenities posted. Please be aware!"
"Nice room; clean; close to city sights if you don’t mind walking. Close to train station. Safe, clean neighborhood. Very generous about letting us stow our bags there for the day. "
"It was close to everything. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel rooms could use a bit of renovation. The lobby doesn't represent the rooms. The A/C doesn't cool. We ended up opening the window. The staff were very friendly and helpful "
"We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight.
The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. The room had a little kitchenette with a microwave and hot plate, which was awesome for cooking ourselves a light breakfast and/or making tea.
3 beaches are walking distance from the hotel: Boccadasse, Vernazzola, and Sturla, so the location was perfect for us. "

"It is a pleasant apartment but rather gloomy because of the outside shutters. The stairs up were quite steep. There were some lovely shops, bars and restaurants very close to the property. There was a bus stop nearby and the buses were frequent but always crowded"
"This place is such a treasure in a time capsule. We appreciate the care for detailed quality napresso coffee, water, high pressured water, air conditioning, and a perfect access to fun eateries, bars and some shopping. Highly recommended
