This is a great place to get away from it all. Wild dear and turkeys roam the grounds in the morning and dusk. Relaxing stay from the first day to the last.

Reviewer Comments:
We all enjoyed the stay very much. One thing was the plumbing. Periodically there is a screeching sound from the pipes. Also, the front door makes a loud sound when closing and need adjustment.

Reviewer Comments:
Very clean. Conscientious owner. Great wine country location. Wonderful fire place encouraging fireside chats with friends. Strongly encourage wine tasting at the Vineyard. The owner is steeped in the history of the area and has depth in the fine points of wine making. Thoughts to consider for improvement: two couples on a three night visit could use more coffee and matched wine glasses. Could use a pancake flipper. Provide written instructions on the Kuerig coffee maker and the wall heater. Provide a handicap bar for the low toilet. Pick up a small IKEA island on wheels for accessing the stove. Put a clothes tree in the bedroom without a closet. Overall excellent and very livable. Great getaway to be with friends.

Reviewer Comments:
We came to Paso for my birthday. This was our 6th trip to the area and we had a very nice trip. The house was well kept and clean. The views from the porch and fire pit are breathtaking. It is very quiet and has tons of birds flying around. Even though it was at a vineyard we never felt like our privacy was invaded. The foot traffic of the upstairs guests was a little loud, but not horrible. We usually stay in downtown Paso, and wanted to try something out in the country. The location is beautiful. I would stay there again if we wanted some quiet tine away.

Reviewer Comments:
We have now stayed at Dunning Ranch Guest Suite for the fourth time. Each time we stay we appreciate it even more than the time before. Suite Two is so comfortable and so very quiet. We dream that the place is ours and find ourselves reluctant to leave when the time to depart arrives. Sitting on the expansive porch with my coffee cup in hand the views to both the vineyard and the surrounding Oak Gove are hypnotic making the morning race by. Our plan is to return here at least once each year going forward!

The house was so comfortable, clean, and filled with everything we needed to make food. The location is perfect close to downtown and the hills, but also nestled away to give solitude. My dog loved roaming around as we watched the sunset.

We loved the Vineyard experience. There was a great fire pit, surrounded by trees, and the vineyard in the background. The cabin itself was very cute. Generally clean except for the living room. The furniture need a complete redo.

Second time staying here; love being in the middle of nowhere right next to the vineyard. Total peaceful location. Very comfortable beds and living room. ONLY concern is the floor creaks quite a lot when folks are also staying upstairs. If very amorous couple could be very loud.

Reviewer Comments:
Charming cottage located on a vineyard. Only down side is there is an upstairs unit which I may have missed when reviewing rentals. First night was nice but the second evening we had company upstairs. Two units are too close for comfort....noise and walking from above wasn't ideal.
This is not bogie. More rustic. Tasting room was about 200 yards away. Signage not great on road. Got lost; no street lights and spotty cell coverage. Biggest prob was we arrived Thursday. On Friday around midnight, we heard people upstairs. We thought someone was breaking in. Management neglected to notify us upstairs guests were expected. The entrance to their suite is outside. Who wouldn’t be scared waking up to voices and foot falls overhead? We had no idea to expect another family.
Lovely old school cottage under very old and majestic oak trees overlooking a vineyard. We stayed at Suite 1, but be aware that they rent the 2nd floor (with exterior stairs and entrance) as Suite 2. We went during winter and there is not central heating, but they did have plug in floor heaters. There is a pot belly stove and plenty of wood, but we couldn't get it to stay lit. I am thankful that I brought my own cozy blanket. The first morning, my husband took a very cold shower. He found the water heater and adjusted the heat. The second day, cold again. He checked the pilot light and it was off. He is handy so easier for him to fix versus calling PR Vacation Rentals to send someone out. The cottage is tidy, but some of the windows do not have curtains. With not having central heating, it would be nice to have curtains to retain the heat of the portables. One of our wine glasses had lipstick on it and one of our bowls was dirty. Other dishes seemed to have a bit of oil residue, most likely from a guest not using hot water. The TV satelite went out, but all was well due to their DVD library. Old school for sure. All that being said, I would stay there again, but would tell others that it is considered a glamping experience.
