"This was our second stay at this excellent apartment. The location is perfect right in the middle of town but with parking close by. The host is amazing, super friendly and welcoming and the apartment itself very well appointed and very clean. This is our first choice of place to stay when we go to Zadar"

Communication could have been improved as after stating our time of arrival which was earlier, it was assumed that we could check in sooner as we weren't then advised something to the effect of "Great, you cannot check in until xxpm but you may use the pool etc". "Checking in was difficult as the owner couldn't speak any English. Using Google translate to get by. The room was very basic, a sink, fridge, stove top and extractor fan, kettle. Big bed, the mattress was 2 singles and a little too soft for our liking. Bathroom was ok, but yet again dated. Shower cubicle was small and you had to hold the shower with your hand as it didn't fit anywhere, Very nice old wooden floor and Aircon unit. All in all ok for a night before heading home from the near by...
