The river is an easy 5-minute walk down from the house; you won't get a direct river view from indoors, but you're surrounded by forest and a bit of mountain in every direction. Main house: glass-and-wood living, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, hot tub, fire pit, porch, grill, and decks — minutes from Jasper. The Little Buffalo is right on the property; Buffalo National River floats are a short drive away. River levels vary seasonally, so it can run full or drop to gravel bars in summer. Guest house and barn are not included. Getting here: the last 3 miles are a county gravel road. Trucks, SUVs, and AWD cars like Subarus are the comfortable choice; regular cars with normal ground clearance make it at a slow, careful pace, but low-riding cars aren't recommended.

The hot tub is a very spacious 4 seater with massage jets and LED lights. At night you can soak under a sky full of stars, there is zero light pollution out here and the stargazing is unreal.
