"We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. "

"Thomas was a very welcoming and kind host with lots of little touches. The accommodation is great and well equipped, with lots of games for the children. We were a family of 8 and we all enjoyed the stay. We took advantage of the gas bbq. I highly recommend this accommodation."

"We stayed in Bayac at Phillips place for a week with friends and kids. It was a fantastic week. We especially enjoyed the perfect pool and the bbq. For the kids it was for sure Flame, Phillips dog. Phillip was very helpful in every way. If youÂŽre looking for real holidays in place close to the most sights of the Dordogne region - here it is."

"This house was charming, and we loved our time there. It is an excellent base for exploring the PĂ©rigord and also an excellent place for sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The kitchen can actually be cooked in and has everything you need. The view from the house is lovely. Florence is great and helped to get us settled, and we could not have asked for a better stay. "

"Stayed in the upstairs appartment which run the length of the building .Very well equipped with washing machine and a dish washer,a welcome surprise. The pool is in a secluded garden location. Negatives Our end bedroom had a strange en suite bathroom arrangement. A screen instead of a wall. A Jack n Jill sink taking up space that could have been used for a toilet and single sink. A bit odd!."

"We stayed at La Vieille Ferme at the end of June 2025. We were four couples and an infant - myself, my wife, our three children and spouses. "Our party of 16 had a really wonderful time staying in this farmhouse. The house and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful and full of charm. The house was brilliantly equipped and we were able to enjoy doing lots of cooking. The pool and outdoor area were so great that we didn’t want to leave the house much and spent most of the stay having pool days and playing games in the grounds. We will be back!"
