Rural idyll

A genuine rustic home, a bit of a distance from shops but we soon embraced that! Very comfortable beds and LOADS of crockery and cutlery for our large group. The children loved the freedom of the acres of space around the property. On the last night we discovered they had taken their bath towels to the top field and all six of them were laid out in a row looking at the stars.

Family holiday

We were a group of 6 adults and 3 children and this house was perfect for all ages. The large garden was beautiful and the pool was lovely. The shallow ledge was particularly useful for my 2 year old to have a little paddle. The trampoline was also a big hit. All the rooms were lovely and big and the open barn outside was a perfect spot to sit under for evening meals. The house is in a quiet little village but small villages and towns within a short distance. We had a great morning kayaking in Riberac and the lovely town of Aubetter

Perfect location for families/groups

We recommend highly this beautiful house. It is well-endowed, the rooms are nice and the outdoor area is huge with lots of space for children to play and a newly built pool. The owners were very friendly and the communication was fast and easy.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and the house was full of character and pool was excellent for kids

We spent a delightful and very restful week here as a family of 5. The children loved spending the day in the pool (which is brilliant for toddlers due to the shelf - approx 30cm deep). There was some perfect shady spots in the garden where we spent time eating and playing. The house is as described and full of character and Anton and Priscilla were great hosts. Thank you!

The house is very beautiful- however it has been totally bodged and feels unloved and badly maintained The two main problems were the dark green filthy pool and the 3rd bathroom being flooded and unusable The host asked us for a cash sum of €215 if we wanted sheets and

An extensive and comfortable holiday home

This is a large and rambling property with lovely gardens and very well suited to a large party. The highlight was all the different outside spaces for eating, lounging and sitting.; we loved all the different social areas outside. A highlight is the barn area with its two planchas which we used everyday. The pool is also excellent and of a good size, perhaps more loungers would have been good but there wasn’t a lot of space for more. We were a party of 11 aged 17 - 81 and were well accommodated in the bedrooms and bathrooms. That said I don’t think that the house is ideal for older people with a lot of uneven flooring and steps with only one bedroom really being ideal for an older person. The description identified the fact that it is an old and quirky house and this is true. There can be no secrets in this house as conversations in rooms can all be heard in the rooms below. The wiring was decidedly dodgy with cables running around the floors between rooms but seemed safe enough. It being an old property some of the door handles were difficult to operate, some doors didn’t shut fully, and I think that these could be rectified - there were a few places where some tlc on the house would have been useful. Another gripe would be the cleanliness when we arrived, there was a lot of dog or cat hair in some of the bedrooms and some areas hadn’t been dusted. That said we had a lovely week and I would overall definitely recommend the house, though not for older people or young children. The house is well equipped for large parties, masses of crockery and two really good sized fridges. Anton and Priscilla were most accommodating and friendly hosts especially as we were very late arriving due to flight delays. Be mindful of the age of the property but for a large party it is a very good choice.

Belle maison de campagne parfaite pour les séjours de groupe

Nous avons passé un super weekend prolongé entre amis et famille, profitant des nombreuses activités (planchas, ping-pong, pétanque, football, jeux de societé) que la maison offre. Le jardin est immense et tout est très bien aménagé. La literie est tres confortables et la maison dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires pour cuisiner pour de grands groupes.

Une belle escapade en famille

Une grande maison facile à vivre quand il y a beaucoup de monde. Plein de coins pour se.poser et profiter. Si la meteo n'est pas bonne, il est facile de passer du bon temps à l'intérieur. Tout le monde a passé un bon moment. Les alentours sont magnifiques avec beaucoup d'activités proposées. Les propriétaires sont plein de bons conseils et très sympathiques.

Superbe maison très bien équipée

Notre séjour était parfait, nous étions 10 adultes et 5 enfants, la distribution des chambres a permis de séparer le groupe « famille levés tôt » du groupe « sans enfants grasse mat’ » c’était impeccable. Beaux et grands volumes, chambres très agréables, nombreux espaces extérieurs pour différentes activités, cuisine très bien équipée pour les grandes tablées, super communication avec Priscilla et sa famille qui nous a donné plein de recommandations. Merci !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en compagnie de nos enfants et petits enfants. C'est une maison ancienne avec énormément de charme qui propose tout le confort dont nous avions besoin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les différents endroits dans le jardin avec des ambiances très différentes. La piscine, éloignée de la maison, est très agréable. le parc est magnifique et la région est très belle. Bref, c'est une semaine que nous n'oublierons pas. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires.

Super vakantiewoning

Heel charmant Frans huis. Leuk gelegen in een klein gehucht tegenover een oud kerkje. Prachtige tuin met veel zitgelegenheid. Heerlijk zwembad met mooi uitzicht. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en heel ruim. Je kunt heerlijk wandelen, super rustig. Verder genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Al met al een supervakantie gehad.

Wundervoll!

Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub in einem wunderbaren Anwesen verbracht. Das Haus hat unglaublich viel Charme und ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Es sind alle notwendigen Geräte in der Küche vorhanden und draußen kann sogar mit einem Plancha gegrillt werden. Der Garten ist riesig und auch einfach schön. Es gibt viele schöne Sitzecken in die man sich auch mal zurückziehen kann. Der Pool sorgt für Abkühlung bei dem tollen Wetter. Er ist zudem eingezäunt - bei Kindern wichtig. Aber im Garten kann auch gut Volleyball oder Badminton gespielt werden. Die Gastgeber sind einfach super nett und haben uns einen tollen Emofang bereitet. Auch standen sie für Rückfragen immer zur Verfügung. Alle, egal ob Erwachsene, Jugendlich, Kinder oder Hunde haben sich rundum wohl gefühlt. Würden wir jederzeit wieder machen!

Une maison de village pleine de charme

Une grande maison ancienne restaurée avec goût et simplicité dans l’esprit de la région avec ses défauts et ses charmes. Ses cours et le jardin sont formidablement bien organisés offrant plusieurs espaces pour un moment de calme ou de retrouvailles. La piscine très bien inscrite dans l’environnement a été un lieu de détente pour petits et grands. Plusieurs lieux de visite et de dépaysement aux alentours. Un beau lieu de vacances en famille pour amoureux de vieilles pierres.

mooie en gezellige vakantiewoning, ideaal met het hele gezin .De woning is autentiek, de isolatie tussen de kamers mag wel beter maar dit is eigen aan een oude woning. Dekeuken en eetkamer zijn goed uitgerust met alle nodige schotels en keukengerei. De streek is prachtig , fietsen zijn zeker aangewezen.

SUPERBE SEJOUR ENTRE AMIS

Nous partons chaque année en vacances à 15 (adultes et enfants en bas âge compris) et pour la première fois nous pensons revenir au même endroit l'année prochaine. La Maison de Nanteuil est parfaitement équipée notamment pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner, joliment décorée et bien agencée. Les espaces extérieurs sont immenses et très agréables avec un gros plus pour la magnifique grange extérieure et sa grande table ! Bref nous recommandons chaudement !
