"Great location, very central, and a lovely hotel. There's a great bar (with decent cocktails). Nothing in Helsinki is cheap, but this felt decent value for the city. "
"Beautiful property with amenities of home. Clean and thoughtfully appointed room. We had an issue with door lock when arriving, but staff was helpful and kept us apprised. Would definitely stay again in future."
"We loved our stay at hotel U14. The staff were all hospitable and helpful. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable. It's located a short walk from market square, the tram, and many shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!"
"The check-in and checkout processes were very easy. The communication via their app was very good and the responses were very quick and accurate. Even though it rain the entire week while we were here, we enjoyed the stay very much. "

The room was well equipped, spacious and cozy.
Luggage storage was provided after check out. (But need to request Locker PIN in advance)

There was no reception that we needed to contact hotel staff via Expedia chat box.
For the breakfast, limited choices and quantity of food were provided. If some hot food has been eaten by other guests who came earlier, there is no way to get it.
Price a bit too high bearing these points in mind.

"I loved everything about the room, the service and the hotel. I've stayed in several Helsinki hotels and this is my favorite. I walked into the lobby at 2 am and I was starving. They had food from the restaurantin the front desk fridge. I got a chicken cedar salad at 2 am! They think of everything!"
" Check in was smooth although there was a short wait due to a queue. Reservation staff friendly. Breakfast was very good, which to us were a range of healthy foods on offer. Room was of reasonable size with double bed, a small working table with chair in front of the TV, and free coffee making facilities. Unfortunately, there was no near power point socket at the working table which would make things easier when working though not an issue. Location of the hotel was definitely good for us, which was adjacent and within a less than five minutes walk after exiting the Helsinki Central Station. Centrally located with easy access to buses, foods (restaurants too), shopping malls and within walking distance to the Helsinki Market Square and some other attractions. Overall, Scandic Helsinki Hotel is a very good, nice, and value for money place to stay. We would certainly return to stay on our next visits and would highly recommend to others too."
"Stunning hotel for a good price. Super handy location right next to the train station and walking distance to many of the main sights in Helsinki. Sound proofing was amazing as we didn’t hear any trains the whole stay!"
