Great Space in a Difficult Location

We loved staying in the lodge, but the unpaved access road and the huge gravel pit next door with dump trucks ripping up the road made the road impassable except for large cars with 4-wheel drive. One set of our guests who tried to arrive by Uber had to walk a quarter mile through the mud because the vehicle couldn't make it up the road.The lodge itself is amazing - great beds, movie theater, kitchens, and so many bathrooms. The hot tub was in need of cleaning and maintenance, but everything else worked very well.Would absolutely come back, provided everyone visiting has 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Browns Canyon Lodge Experience

We celebrated our 50th anniversary/family reunion at Browns Canyon Lodge with 40 family members and had a wonderful time. The Lodge was spacious and clean and was located in a beautiful, quiet location about 15 minutes from Park City. We had plenty of room for group gatherings and for meals which we very much needed . The younger children spent hours and hours playing on the pirate ship and the little playroom near the stairs. Our teenagers loved playing pool, air hockey, foosball and the occasional basketball game. We also enjoyed the theater and the hot tub. Having two kitchens and three refrigerators was awesome for our big family. The hosts were always very quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. We had a great experience!

Lots of room for a big group

We brought a group of students for an educational retreat and it worked out great. The kitchens and bedrooms were lovely and the basketball court, hot tub, movie room, and greenhouse area were very fun. There were some broken things in the house here and there, but nothing major. The only downsides were the construction going on outside, the muddy/dirt driveway up to the front door, and that the room with 3 triple bunk beds doesn't have a full bath they can really use. The girls staying in there had to spread out all over the house to use others' bathrooms. But overall, everything worked out just fine.

A great place for a family gathering

From the time we arrived at the property until the time we left, the managers of this lovely property were attentive and very helpful. Children ranging in age from 6 to 17 had plenty to do, and the adults had great gathering space for visiting. The pirate ship and indoor basketball court kept younger children busy, and the theater room allowed all to relax and watch their favorite shows. The primary kitchen was large and inviting, and there were tables on both floors for puzzling, gaming, writing, arts and crafts, and eating. Three refrigerators held food for three days, with plenty of space to spare. We had a great time around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows and reminiscing. It was great to get away from the city heat for a few days and have time together. Thank you for providing this beautiful spot.

Family reunion

The interior of the house was really fun and had lots of things for the kids to do. They really kept busy shooting basketballs or playing on the indoor slide. They also liked the hidden playroom. The older kids and adults had fun with the air hockey and pool table. Only a few people used the hot tub, and we didn’t use the theater room, except for a place to sleep. I was disappointed in the exterior landscaping, partly because of the trucks and dumping of dirt going on nearby. We did use the fire pit two nights, and that was fun. We had counted on using the two futons in the great room as a sleeping area, but there are no blinds on the many windows in that area, so I would not consider that a viable sleeping area.

Once you’re inside…

We were pretty sure we were lost as we got close because we found ourselves driving to a landfill. We weren’t lost — it IS adjacent to a landfill. Sort of wish we’d known that in advance. But hey, it was winter time and we weren’t going to spend much time outdoors anyway. The inside was just as advertised, spacious, lots of great play areas for the kids, great gathering space, really nice theater room. My only complaints aside from location: the house wasn’t ready on time, so we shared our vacation with cleaners and repairmen for over an hour. And the ice maker was broken. They promised to bring bags of ice but didn’t.

We can’t say enough good about our stay at OTG LODGE. It’s a very unique and wonderful place for large family gatherings. Association Board Retreat

We rented the OTG with a group of 17 young adults. It was just a short distance from town. The property had all the amenities we could have asked for! The hot tub and grill were just what we needed after a long day on the mountain. Thanks so much for the wonderful communication and recommendations! We booked this property for a family reunion. We had 33 in the cabin, and it NEVER felt crowed. We spread out for activities: we played basketball, spent time in the hot tube, played pool, but mostly just sat around and visited in the spacious kitchen/living area. It was pretty fabulous
