"Having visited Malta multiple times, wanted to stay somewhere different on the island. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. Majority of the facilities are in the other hotels complex - pool, gym, sauna, lounge area. Frustrating when balcony overlooked another pool & lounge area below, but not for hotel guests to use. Never known there to be so many restaurants on offer in a hotel complex. Only used for breakfast; did find some items were undercooked - each day was a different experience. Bonus that there is a local bus stop right outside, great for getting from & to the airport. Not sure for it’s future with a large new hotel, shopping mall & suites bringing constructed directly behind."

"Room clean and was provided with towels, tea/coffee, soap, shower caps etc. WiFi was easy to connect to. Got an upgrade which was lovely! The best part our holiday was the hotel! The bar in the evening has live music performances. Also very close to shops for groceries if needed."

Room & Amenities Cleanliness: The rooms were well-maintained and clean upon arrival. Climate Control: The air conditioning was non-functioning during our stay, which is a significant factor to consider depending on the weather. Linens: The towels provided were the lowest quality I have encountered across hundreds of hotels in all price ranges. They were undersized (providing minimal coverage) and had a noticeable unpleasant odor. Appliances: The in-room refrigerator was broken. Despite reporting this to staff, who promised to contact maintenance, the issue was never addressed. After 48 hours without a follow-up, we stopped requesting assistance. Facilities & Service Staff: The team was generally friendly, though the lack of follow-through on maintenance requests suggests a breakdown in internal communication. Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent and stood out as a highlight of the stay. Pool & Parking: While the pool was open, it was unheated. On-site parking is available but difficult to navigate and not ideally designed. Noise & Location As we visited during the off-season, there was active construction on the premises. "A 3 night stay All Inclusive to visit some of Malta’s famous history. Overall the Qawra Palace is superb base, though it’s a big hotel which takes some navigating at first. I also must say it’s very busy, especially in the restaurant - we visited in Feb so I can only imagine what it is like peak season. The rooms are clean but I’m glad we upgraded to a sea view. The food is varied, good quality & plentiful. If you are staying in the cooler months, the sun shines a lot longer on floor 11, where you’ll find the rooftop pool. "
