Frustrating Experience – Poor Communication and Maintenance Issues

I stayed at this property in Paris from May 3–7, 2025. While the apartment itself was generally adequate, my overall experience was very disappointing due to several serious issues.First and most frustrating, I never received proper check-in information. The host sent me a broken link multiple times, even after I explained repeatedly that it didn’t work. I had no idea which unit I rented or how to access the building. I had to ask for the gate code, the front door code, and even how to exit the unit after getting locked in. This made the beginning of my trip unnecessarily stressful.Communication with the host was poor throughout. I reached out through the VRBO app, WhatsApp, and by phone — with no response on WhatsApp and no answer by phone, even during the times they claimed to be available.There were also several maintenance issues:- The bathroom sink leaked and both the sink and shower had drainage problems.- The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during my stay.- The bathroom door was a safety concern — when fully closed, it would trap the person inside.Given the lack of communication, the unsafe bathroom door, and the overall inconvenience, I cannot recommend this property. I expected a much smoother and more reliable experience for the price paid.
