A lot of space. Light and airy with a funky feel. The smallest lift in the city. One person, one bag and a note stating the fine you’d be assessed if it broke down while you were in it and violating the rules. Tough if you’re a family and on the 6th floor. Burned out light in a bedroom closet. One floor lamp could not be switched on (or was it off). Paint peeling from the trim. One bedroom vanity drawer kept falling out. Check in was difficult. A simple text with the appropriate codes would have been better than the link to a video that would not work in my browser. No instructions for leaving. We just reversed the process. Short walk to La Tour Eiffel. Certainly no view.

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location

The only positive aspects of this flat were the new, comfortable mattresses and its convenient location. Everything else was a disaster. In all fairness, it felt like a tourist trap. The entire building is composed of short-term rentals with lockboxes on the doors. The lift is tiny, feels dangerous, and seems outdated. The communal areas are falling apart, the carpet has been removed and likely won’t be replaced and several windows are simply broken. I won’t list every detail about the inside because it would be too lengthy – simply put, the flat was cheaply refurbished (to maximise profit, I guess, not guest experience).On top of that, it was missing even the most basic essentials: there were hardly any cutlery, absolutely nothing to allow for minimal cooking (no oil, salt, or condiments), and no cleaning products whatsoever. For a stay of less than a week, this flat was nowhere near worth the price we paid.
