The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located on Rue des Gravilliers, one of the oldest streets in Paris, in the heart of the Haut-Marais, between Arts-et-Métiers, Châtelet, and Rivoli. The neighborhood is known for its authentic and creative atmosphere, blending historic buildings, artisan workshops, art galleries, and concept stores.



Less than a 5-minute walk away is the Marché des Enfants Rouges, a must-see for its stalls from around the world, and the ultra-modern Centre Pompidou. You'll also find numerous neighborhood cafés, renowned bakeries, bistros, and discreet bars that are very popular with Parisians. The apartment is also just steps away from the main shopping streets and districts (Rivoli, Francs Bourgeois, Châtelet, Bastille, etc.).

Great Location!

This flat is in the heart of lots of restaurants, and less than a mile walk to the historic and museum district. It is close to several Metro stations, so getting around the rest of Paris was easy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was fabulous! The location was perfect, very centric to most attractions. The apartment was beautiful, cozy, and comfortable. The one thing I will say is that it only had one toilet, which was not ideal for three rooms and a party of 6.

Wonderful Taste of Paris

Clean, easy check in process and Bea is a very responsive host. The neighborhood is wonderful and we had 6 fantastic meals within steps of our place. Paris Kitchen right across the street for breakfast and Derrière for a delicious and delightful dinner. We will definitely be coming back to Paris❤️

This Vrbo is a perfect 2 bedroom place in Marais. The beds are very comfortable. The pull out couch is also very comfortable. The location is walking distance to the Metro, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this location for your stay. I would definitely stay again. Bea is very easy to work with. Thanks for helping make my first stay in Paris a memorable one!!

The Flat is just as described. Communication with the owner was excellent. Plenty of restaurants just a few doors away especially if you choose not to stray too far after a long day out.

We were 4 people. Two adults and two teenagers. The apartment is very compact but had everything we needed for a week in Paris. We were happy with the location. Very nice restaurants very close by. Perfectly located vacation apartment

Nice and new little flat in an interesting quarter in Paris, lots of small restaurants and bars, 15 minutes to walk to NotreDame or Louvre, 3 minutes to next Metro. Maybe kitchen/dining place is bit too small for 6 adults, also there were some kitchen items only for 5 people.

Great Location in Le Marais

When you read other reviews that say there is only one toilet in the apartment. That is NOT accurate. There are 2 toilets. There is one as soon as you walk into the space. I am sure other rentals assumed it was a closet. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were very nice. Location was great. Bea was extremely helpful with details and information for check in.

Our stay was fine for us because we had only one night. I ended up sleeping early, but my group walked to Notre Dame and loved the short walk at sunset. We found the place a little small for a longer stay with only one toilet for 5.of us. Otherwise, the apartment was very nice.

Short break in Paris

The property is in a great location, very close to lots of bars and restaurants, within easy access to the métro and all the sights of central Paris. Communication with the host was excellent and check in was easy. The apartment is compact, with a fairly small living/kitchen area, 3 double bedrooms and only one toilet and 2 shower rooms. Fine for a short stay, nevertheless. The host has developed a website specific to the apartment, which was very useful. We enjoyed our stay in Paris!

Perfect Location

Great location, affordable (for Paris) in the middle of great little bistros of many nationalities. Communication with the owner to get the entry codes was a little bit awkward at first. Plus the instructions for the apartment’s features could be more detailed (especially the washing machine). But we really liked the space. There are 2 bathrooms (sinks & showers) but only one toilet (separate very small room). Quiet location and secure and safe. Would hope to stay again.

Good spot in Marais

What a nice spot in a good location in Marais, Paris. Our family of four enjoyed our spot in this destination. The location is the best part of the property. It’s with an easy walking distance to public transportation, good restaurants, and grocery stores when you’re looking for something. Bea was very pleasant to deal with and extremely well organized. The check-in instructions were spot on and even though it requires multiple steps to be able to actually get through the front door it is well documented and easy to follow the instructions. The space itself is not terribly large, but was plenty adequate for our party. The only two areas that could have been a touch better was the amount of towels and washer/dryer situation. Both were adequate but it would have been nice to have a couple more towels. The washer worked well but the dryer left a lot be be desired. It was a good stay overall and would definitely go back.

3 day Paris adventure

We absolutely loved our stay in the 3rd. It was our first time to Paris and traveling with a teenager and 2 80 year olds and my husband from Wisconsin, USA was nerve wracking. He’s made me feel so welcome and comfortable and offered an entire guide of the flat and local places to visit. She even has walking/ running routes from the flat which was more than I could’ve ever expected. I understood prior to booking a stay in Paris that you can’t have the experience of being in the heart of Paris and have the typical “American luxuries.” The flat is located in a beautiful place and a short walk to the Seine and the metro, 30 min walk to the louvre. We mainly spent our time out in the city but one day was 100 degrees it was nice to have air conditioning to go back to. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely be booking with Bea again!

Quiet flat in a great location!

Our family (2 adults and 3 grown teenagers) enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very close to the Metro lines and there are loads of restaurant options near by. It is also very close to 2 grocery stores. These are all within very easy walking distance of the flat. The Seine was about a 20 minute walk away where we were able to enjoy the tourist and non-tourist sights and activities. We loved the location of this flat as it is located in a lively area with good energy and without much busking activity. Despite us not knowing much of the French language, we found all the store and restaurant employees we met to be friendly and patient with us. The flat was easy to locate on our arrival. It is located on the ground level in a courtyard setting. The windows open onto the tiny courtyard and is directly across from a small wine cafe. We found the flat to be quiet and we didn’t hear any of the surrounding tenants. Our 3 daughters appreciated having separate beds. Our 20 year old and 15 year old slept on the bunk bed without issue. The kitchen has a two burner cooktop and a microwave for cooking and a small fridge. There was enough utensils, dinnerware, and cookware for a family of five although we opted to eat out. We appreciated the washer/dryer to be able to do some laundry during our stay. The property owner is very helpful and was easy to communicate with during our entire experience. We would look to stay here again in the future.

Location was great, near everything including tons of cafes. Apartment was extremely clean compared to others we stayed in, and the washing machine came in handy. A little more tight on space than the photos suggest, but still very good.
