Nice but track your room marks
Room is spacious,beds are a dense foam mattresses that seems kind of random in their platform settings. Stopper on bathroom does was off and on the ground so our door started originally off track and was a little scary for us. We put it on track but monitored it didn't fall off track again while staying in the room. Shower had Paris sewage smells if you are first to get it started, but wasn't too bad.

It was a rough experience. I got there early in the morning and could not check in early. I had to pay for two lockers for my stuff. The private room with one bed is very bare with little furniture. I felt like I paid for what a hotel would have cost with zero amenities. Plus, this hostel isn't even in a nice neighborhood. The neighborhood definitely has a decent amount of crime and is not safe to walk in the late evening. It is also far from a lot of attractions. There were even fireworks some nights that kept going off. There were no good restaurants nearby the hostel. I ordered some dinner at the hostel, but it didn't taste great. They mainly just had pizza. The service was not great either. I tried to take a shower one evening around 6:00 pm, and there was no hot water. The staff there then suggested I just take a shower in the communal bathroom. I was not sure of what the cleaning schedule was, but I only got my room cleaned around 3 days out of the 8 days I stayed there. On the day I had to leave for the airport at 5:30 am, I got locked in the hostel with no recepetionist. I tried to push a few doors open, but none would open. They locked the doors on the outside because the neighborhood is bad, but they locked them on the inside. I had to pay around 28 Euros because the Uber driver cancelled after waiting for me, which was not my fault. I barely received an apology or a solution for any problems the hostel caused for me.

Indeed, we alwalys do our best to allow people to have early check in but unfortunately sometimes this is not possible, but we have secured lockers available to wait. We are not in the center but our hostel is placed next to many metro stations that deserve paris center quickly. Concerning the uber, we are sincerely sorry to read this but this is totally beyond our control and we don't even work with this company.We hope you still had a good stay in Paris, Have a nice day, Camille

First time in Paris and I really liked this hostel.. it was clean staff was nice the ONLY ISSUES were that we were not able to bring our own food and store it in fridges or cook something we’d like… Also no bagage storage free of charge.. it cost about 4€ for 6 hours.. they don’t make the bed when you first check in you have to do it yourself

There is a snacking room in which you can find a fridge, a microwave and a kettle, and you can eat your own food in this room but not in the restaurant area. We have lockers in which you can store your things before the checkin and after the checkout for 4 for 6h and 7 for the day. As part of the hostel concept, you do have the bedding folded on the bed and you have to make your own bed. It was a pleasure to ahev you and we hope you had a loevely time in Paris. See you soon

Location is perfect, only 1-2min walking to metro Line 9, and easy to reach most scenic spots. Employees are nice and helpful. Only disadvantages per our opinion are that the air conditioner is not working well for the 2 rooms we stayed, had to call technicien both times. Room is a bit dark with the paint chosen. After all it is a good experience.

Everything at Jo&Joe was amazing. The rooms are safe and secure, the bathrooms very tidy, the beds are sturdy and offer great privacy, and the staff are friendly and very helpful! I'd definitely stay again.

I did not like the property, you will be charged for the use of towels, you have to buy a lock at the reception if you do not want to lose your items to thieves, very limited options for food, the showers are very small in size. I do not recommend this place.

The staff is great and the facility is just fine. I'm beyond the average age of a hostel guest, yet had a perfectly fine stay. The vicinity to the metro is a big plus. Located on the first floor, I couldn't hear any noise. I'd suggest renting a light for the cubicles as an amenity. As a professional in hospitality, I'd like to stress again how friendly and professional the staff was.

Great location just off the 9 metro. The place was spotless and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. There are built in lockers to keep your belongings secure and I never once felt like my things weren’t safe. Wonderful first hostel experience for me. Would definitely stay there again.

Wow, a 5* hostel....a new hurdle has been set for competitors
It was a wow 5* hostel. Such an amazing hostels in terms of covid needs. The pod beds were homely. The staff were passionate in helping guests feel at home. Thank you to all the staff.

Funky place but with BED BUGS
Staff were lovely, the dorm room was spacious with clean bathrooms and linen BUT there were BED BUGS!! I was covered in bites the next morning and had to travel back to the UK in great discomfort. I’m still itchy two days later. The reception was apologetic and offered me a free breakfast but that’s not really good enough. The room needs to be steam cleaned and the mattress replaced.

The services at Jo&Joe were very good in general. The staff members are very friendly, patient, and with a very professional attitude, especially Ornella, Patricia, Victor and Agustin. Unfortunately I had an incident with my belongings: On Monday 29th of August I went out in a rush and left all my belongings, included my luggage on top of my bed and bring the curtain down. I also left my electrical converter (as I live in the UK), the plug for my iPad (Amazon), headphones, cable to charge my phone, some toiletries in a Tesco reusable plastic bag, neck pillow and, most importantly a book in Spanish called "Evo Morales", a very rare edition of this book that I had just purchased. When I came back latter on that day I noticed that the cleaners had changed the bedding and taken all my things. I really don't understand why the cleaner took all my things if I hadn't checked out yet. I went to reception and talked to Victor who immediately started to look for my things. Literally the only two items he found was the plastic bag and my neck pillow. I didn't recover any of the other staff, regardless that all members of the staff were looking for it. I am not happy at all with this experience, especially loosing my book. I hope you can train your cleaners better asking them to be more careful when they clean the rooms. I will really appreciate if you find my book and send it to me. Regards. Maricarmen Cardenas Bueno.
