Ideal for me as opposite gare du nord and was tight on time arriving. Lovely staff, very helpful. Room clean and suites my needs for the night. €5 to leave luggage at reception for the day before heading back to London.

Great stay at Hotel Picardy

My stay was wonderful. The hotel staff was excellent and the price was very affordable compare to the rest of Paris. I would recommend for those who are traveling to Paris and on a budget

Worst 15 mins of our lives

Arrived in Paris at 14:49, walked a short distance to the hotel for our 15:00 check in, the room wasn’t ready and were asked to go away and come back in hour. So we went for a walk locally to check out shops etc, about an hour and half later we arrived back ready for check in. The room was disgusting, hairs on bedding, layers of dust, bathroom light not working… the list is endless. I sat on the uncomfortable bed and we decided it was better just to go back to London, 19:57 we were on a train and booking a premier inn in London for the night.

As a traveller there are times that I arrive early. I’m not expecting to have my room ready before check in but usually what other do is if it is already ready they would be happy to accommodate you. But in this hotel everything is different. You have to wait the check in time exactly no more no less. Unless you will pay if you want an early check in. I was not able to stay at the lobby waiting for check in because they have to close at lunch time, so I have to stay outside at the station. This hotel is not accommodating.

It is not fair for the management not to provide a fan in the room. There is no air-condition, no fan. The room was extremely hot. Once i opened the windows, flies visited the room. They need to consider air-condition or fan. The room was ok! However, when i booked the room, the details said " single room with double bed". When i got the hotel, I was given a single room with single bed. The room was not even numbered. May be the room number fell off and they didn't care to put it back. I was not happy that the room on the advert was not the room given to me. The room on the advert was totally different from the room i was given!!! I reported this but the reception desk told me that Expedia made wrong adverts. I chatted with someone from Expedia, the person said their advert was correct but it wasn't!!! I was told that they will get back to me after speaking to the management but they didn't. They supposed to refund me some money because the room i paid for was not given to me!!! Overall, the place is good for transportation!!! The receptionist was good and helpful. The rooms are cleaned everyday. Will I use the place again? I may !!! Recommendations 1. Update the charging sockets with with USB port (sockets type).2. Provide a fan in the room or air conditioner. 3. The window has no protection and it supposed to! 4. Bed should have at least two pillows. ( one pillow is not enough). 5. There is need to have channels that speaks English on the TV. Good luck.

Great location if you are catching a train - right across from Gare du Nord where the Eurostar departs from Paris. Loud area - bust street, lots of flashing neon signs all through the night.

Near the Gare du Nord station. The facility is really old and flush on toilet is barely working. The elevator is sometimes not working to be ready to use the narrow stairs. Overall fine for a one night stay due to affordable price

Great location

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect location opposite Gare du Nord and a metro line 4 station on its doorstep. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was too small and unappetising.

I got exactly what I paid for. The hall light did not work, the toiled would not flush, at least the TV worked.

Worst Hotel Ever

Very bad hospitality, worst cleaning, no soap in the bathroom, no lights working, owners behave is mind boggling, bed size is not even for kids, if rating is available in minus -8 from my end 2 I kept for location other than that very bad experience.
