This is a really great option for your stay in Paris, especially if you want to be close to a central transportation hub. It’s situated on a very cute and quiet side street, secluded from the hustle and bustle but, at the same time, just steps away from the train station and metro. The area is also nice with a lot of stores and restaurants, plenty of food options and things to do. We were traveling with a toddler and booked through Expedia which allowed us to reserve a room not suitable for a crib. No fault of the hotel. They were very accommodating and upgraded us to a larger room so we could fit the crib. Rooms overall are on a smaller side but so are most in central Paris. The rooms are quite well stacked with everything you may need and are clean and updated. There is no AC on the property but with a fan it worked fine (we were traveling in the hot month of August). Overall we enjoyed our stay and it’s a good deal for the price!

Excellent location near to Metro and Montparnase train station, great restaurants just a block away. The staff is very nice and everything is super clean. The only thing that I didn’t like was the condition of the building, it needs some renovation. The bathroom is way old and when you take a shower is like swimming in the Seine. Renovation is the key to make the hotel great again 😎

Poor overall condition

Poor condition: the room smelled of mold, and some bathroom fixtures were barely attached to the wall. Tiny bathroom: difficult to shower without touching the wall/curtain and without getting the whole bathroom wet. Minimal space between shower, toilet, and sink.

This hotel is a fraud!

Hotel much more run down than pictures led me to beleive. Price was NOT in par with the quality of the hotel Leakage in bathroom ceiling Lock was not locking all the way Room and bathroom smelling humidity Room and bathroom very tiny Picture are from a long time ago I had to check for bedbugs and put a chair in from of the door. This does not feel like a 200 plus hotel. The only good thing was the location and the night reception employee who was polite.

Other reviewers indicated that rooms were very small, however its not untill you open the door that you realise how true this is. This especially applied to the bathroom where there was literally no room to move. I know its Paris, however for the price i paid i dont think this was good value for money.

Junior suite could do with refurbishment/upgrade

Staff were very friendly on arrival and any time we encountered them. We stayed in a junior suite, there was a damp smell upon entering the room and visible mould/damp on the ceilings. Double bed was a good size and comfy however sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and creaked any time you moved. Shower was average but done the job, visible mould/damp in this room also. Toilet was in a cupboard so not much room for movement. Overall the stay was fine for what we needed as we had a lot planned so were in the room minimal. The hotel was in a great location close to the metro for getting about Paris easily. The room we stayed in could definitely do with a refurbishment/upgrade.

Wifi didn’t connect to internet. Shower was loosely fixed to the wall. Two power points in the room didn’t work. Light in the corridor outside the room didn’t work. Room was small but OK. Shower was minuscule and uncomfortable with not enough room to avoid the plastic shower curtain. Bed was reasonably comfortable!

Horrible property. Pictures on the website are very deceiving; bathroom is disgusting. Broken faucet left on the floor. Carpet is at least 30 years old. Sliding door broken, wouldn’t slide. sink broken& stained and water did not go down; no shower door. Water spilled everywhere. Hallways are disgusting. SHAME on you Expedia for allowing such a horrible hotel advertise on your website!

This hotel is in my dream part of Paris, and we were excited to stay for a long weekend in Paris, but the hotel fell short of all our expectation. The elevator was broken and despite promises of repair all weekend, we had to lug our baggage up and down 5 flights of narrow stairs. The cleanliness was shocking. We found a pubic hair under our pillow upon arrival, which the staff quickly fixed by changing the bedding but the experience was still shocking. There was also a wet, used towel in the bathroom when we arrived and stains all over the carpet (unlike the photos). Our view was nice and the area was quiet, but we kept out shoes on inside the room and used our own antibacterial wipes to clean a few surfaces. The staff were all kind, but no one took accountability for the experience and we were offered nothing in return for it. I would not stay here again nor recommend it.

This property is not as advertised. The elevator is broken and I believe there is no intention to fix it. This meant 5 flights of very narrow stairs each time. We had a room for 4, and the toilet was in a different room than the sink and you had to squeeze by the end of the pull out bed to reach it. Example, one bed in one room with shower/sink, pullout couch in another room with toilet. Toilet room would be hard to stand in if over 5’10”. Air conditioning turned off during the day, meaning very hot when returning to room. Sheets had a stain on them. Very small luggage storage, would only hold a few bags, could be an issue if multiple bookings needed it. I love the neighbourhood, and unfortunately the hotel we wanted was booked so we took a chance on this one but I would not recommend it, nor would I return.

We checked in late with our two young kids, and from the minute we walked through the door the alarm bells started ringing. Let’s start by saying that whoever took the photos for the advertisement would be better described as a magician rather than a photographer. If we hadn’t arrived late we would not have stayed here at all and made alternate arrangements. My partner took the kids up to the room while I arranged the bags and pram and struggled up to the 5th (top) floor in the tiny lift (I’ve no idea how I would have got them down the tight, steep staircase in an emergency). When I arrived in the smell in the room (a mixture of smoke and damp) was overpowering. The tiles were coming off the wall in the shower, there was mould around the windows, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly (sticky glass marks on bedside table) and the temperature was either freezing cold or hotter than hell. I explained to the night manager that this wasn’t acceptable and was unsafe for children and I’d like to change our stay to one night only he said there was nothing he could do until the morning when the manager arrived. It was late and at this hour we had no option but to sleep here (I never slept a wink on a disgusting sofa bed which was meant for me children, absolutely no chance) that night. As it turns out the day manager spun us the same story, that this would have to be referred to another manager who wasn’t available. In short, don’t stay here. We left ASAP!
