Charming hotel in St. Germaine. Beautiful rooms , wonderful breakfast , quaint bar . Walkable to many sites. Great location for wandering streets filling with boutiques and cafes .

A great hotel with a nice courtyard and great rooms. Very easy transport with bus and Metro stops really close. Local places everywhere to eat and great food. The staff were all really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t say enough on how great our stay at Hotel d’Angleterre made our holiday in Paris.

The staff was courteous and the breakfast good. Location is very good. The room tough even if spacious, was definitely in need of refurbishment and the furniture was quite old as well. In addition, no tea or coffee tray in the room, that for a 4 stars and nowadays could be a bit disappointing.

Continental Breakfast was free and good. Front desk staff were very responsive to my questions. Only downsides were small elevator (fits 2 or 1 with luggage), rather crooked, leaving and some steep steps and noise from outside hotel.

Nice elegant small hotel in good location. Walls are thin so I heard music and conversations way too late into the night. Not in a shopping area but close to museums and Luxembourg gardens.

Our room was on the second floor which meant climbing over 30 stairs which is not great for those in their 70-80’s. There is an elevator for higher floors just not the 2nd. The room was spacious but the toilet is in the foyer when you come in with only a cold water sink and no soap and the rest of the bathroom is in the back so a bit awkward. The bedding was very comfortable, the staff were helpful a you can’t beat the location. I would stay there again but on a floor with an elevator.

We have long wanted to try this historic hotel with the great location and lively center outdoor space. This year the availability made that possible. While the interior needs redoing (threadbare carpet in our room and tired furnishings) it is a wonderful licatiin and the staff was very accommodating and genuinely nice. One of the better breakfast options of the hotels in the area and excellent coffee. We also love having the tiny bar available to us a all hours.

Although parts of the hotel are arguably a little tired, there is a lot to recommend to people with a sense of history. The location is excellent, staff friendly, rates fare, the breakfast decent. My second stay, and I will go again.

Memorable charming hotel

This boutique hotel is amazing. The hotel is historic, the, rooms are charming and each unique, the small open-air atrium is a delightful quiet place for breakfast or tea, and the breakfast is great. The staff exceptionally welcoming. And the location is fantastic for accessing all that Paris has to offer.

Gracious boutique hotel ideally located.

A lovely gracious boutique hotel reminiscent of older Paris. Our room was large and comfortable with 2 big windows overlooking rue Jacob. Breakfasts were wonderful in a lovely room off the lobby. The small bar in the lobby allows for an after dinner drink before heading to bed. Simply a lovely experience!

I loved staying at the Hotel d'Angleterre Saint Germain des Pres! The hotel was in an excellent location where I could walk to many wonderful sites. I loved that it was only a 10 minute walk to the Seine. The management and desk clerks were very accommodating, the breakfast was lovely, and I enjoyed the garden. I had a wonderful stay, 10 days in May and 8 more in June. Should I return to Paris, I will book my stay with them again.
