An unpretentious, no-frills hotel with clean rooms. Friendly staff. The only massive inconvenience: the hotel does not accept luggage deposit on the day you check out! We were told to look for luggage storage somewhere else in the area. We ended up queueing for 45 mins at the luggage deposit at the Gare du Nord.

Location next to a Metro station. Brilliant service and you can leave your luggage before you can check in. The hotel room with lots spaces and lots of restaurants nearby.

The good things first; the beds were good and the location was great! There were many nice and delicious places to eat and go out - just round the corner. But, the room was worn out and not very clean (we found hair on the bath room floor and in the bed). The “emergency exit” sign in the room was shining very brightly all night which made it difficult to sleep. And the metro was just beneath the room, so every 3 minutes we could hear it pass by. The windows didn’t let in any light or fresh air - so the room seemed almost like a little cave. We had expected more considering the price, however we have never visited Paris before, so we don’t know the standards in general.

The rooms are tiny, but this is not unusual in Paris from my experience. Location is close to the train and walking distance to Moulin Rouge. Breakfast is extra, but really nice breakfast for the price.

This room immediately smelled like cigarette smoke, the carpets are old and stained, and there was facial hair in the bathroom, like from someone shaving previously. The shower is not a proper mounted shower head, which we heard is common in Paris, but we wish it was better advertised, there was no shower curtain either. Budget friendly and within walking distance of good food places, and 1+ hour walking distance to all the tourist sites, but definitely not the nicest place we’ve stayed. Upside is the beds were very comfortable, but we just felt the room was not as clean as the pictures made it seem.

The location of this property is excellent! Steps to the metropolitan and delicious restaurants. It’s a no nonsense place to sleep and shower, doesn’t have any extra fluff. But when in Paris it’s not about the room. It did keep us very warm at night during some really cold nights. We had a nice stay - because location location location.

Its so outdated. Stains on the floor (floor is unstable) and bathroom was not safe to use. Not enough power outlets to even charge phones. They have no air-condition. Service was great and the area is nice but the hotel itself is overpriced.
